For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Um, are we meant to be tweaking your nipples?

filthymindedvixen · 01/07/2008 17:51

chuffing norah franny, that bump is almost as big as mine was! Can't believe you have such lovely clothes at this stage

TigerFeet · 01/07/2008 18:00

lolol, I'm sure Mr TigerFeet would be delighted to oblige, and could perhaps even be persuaded to indulge in a little light nipple tweaking into the bargain but unfortunately he isn't in the UK atm (back tomorrow though ).

MNHQ have remembered that dd is 4 tomorrow (of course they have it on their Organised Mum calendar, it's not an automated email, nononono). And I quote, "This is the age of chatting, singing and dancing, with no self consciousness. This age will not come again without mind altering substances." I roffled and pmsl'd and lolol'd and them panicked slightly as I remembered my late teenage years/early 20's arghhhhhhhh.

Lovely to hear that TooT minor had a lovely day. We have had lots of fun today too, swimming then haircuts then shopping for nice things then play in the park then animal farm thingy then strawberry picking then shopping for birthday cake ingredients. Twas fab.

Make your mind up, Franny. Do your nipples need tweaking or not?

Sounds like a lovely day, TF.

FrannyandZooey · 01/07/2008 18:21

right

Happy Birthday everyone. and tomorrow birthday people also. TigerFeet I hope your gall stone thing goes ok - what are they going to do?

Having a succession of orgasms is right out of the question. I can barely put my trousers on in the morning. BUT I went to the gym and did a leisurely 45 mins of stuff so a sticker for me, please.

dinner: lettuce, chickpeas, tomato, cucumber, new pots, eggs, carrot, mushroom, red and orange pepper
lots of orange juice
a yogurt and banana
loads of kiki
magic iron water (not to be confused with ironing water just in case you were wondering TigerFeet)

I never iron anything. Ever. I used to have to iron as part of my job and boy oh boy do I loathe it. I actually got signed off for ironing when pg with ds which was quite a result. It's bad for your back you see

It's just a u/s scan so thankfully nothing invasive but I have to fast for 6 hours beforehand (3.30pm appt).

I have had to buy a cake for dd to take with her to nursery tomorrow - they aren't allowed to give the children home-made stuff that's been brought in. All food has to be opened by the staff on site. We'll be baking tomorrow morning though (even though I won't be able to eat our wares) so she can have a nice home made cake with candles on it to blow out when her Daddy gets home. I didn't have to buy a cake I suppose, but when I thought we could send in a home made one I told dd that she could have a cake to take with her tomorrow so I didn't really feel like I could go back on that.

sixty squizillion strawberries
sweetcorn

erm, that's about it

TigerFeet · 01/07/2008 18:35

Happy birthday Lully

UnderRated · 01/07/2008 18:41

I am teething again

Tiger, did I miss something? Why do you need a scan?

FrayedKnot · 01/07/2008 18:41

pinkspottywellies · 01/07/2008 21:45

Franny you look like Mr Hungry (or is it Greedy?) from the Mr Men!! Ah, it is Greedy but I don't mean to be unkind. That kind of gravity defying bump always astonishes me Mine curved up gently from my pelvis and back smoothly curving in under my boobs but always looked quite small. You like you've got a beach ball under your top

You still look fab though and very stylish!

F&V not so good today. Had horrifying lunch experience at farm park place. Menu was totally devoid of anything fresh. Made up for it a bit with HUGE stir fry for dinner though.

pinkspottywellies · 01/07/2008 21:47

Didn't know about all the birthdays. Happy Birthday everyone. Good news about the Bongo. Don't look pg from the back. Hope the u/s goes ok. Good news about the school TooT.

FrannyandZooey · 01/07/2008 21:56

UR what's up with your teeth?

TooT that was excellent news about the school - are you relieved? The Vertbaudet stuff turned up today, will try to post tomorrow

What about UR's teeth? I missed that.

Hope you had a lovely birthday Lully - yesterday was it?

Happy birthday for tomorrow TigerCubFeet

Yes, very relieved about dd1's school. Also went to meeting there this evening and met her tutor, who is really lovely
Definitely the right decision I think.

Raspberries, melon, nectarine, carrot sticks, 6 slices of cucumber, one tomato, cake.

Raspberry icing is SPECTACULAR!

TooTicky · 01/07/2008 22:56
