For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

No no NO it is not that, you have not been rude. I was rude and then made you a virtual fruit salad but was worried you might have been actually upset but if you're not then I am very glad

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 21:01

A planet bouncing on her blackadder?

Zippi, how are you?

Tatties · 08/07/2008 21:01

Fantastic bero!

TooT are you premenstrual? I am. I burst into tears this morning because ds knocked some water over me

FrannyandZooey · 08/07/2008 21:03

I didn't see a virtual fruit salad
sorry I have not been at my best at all today
I felt physically and mentally quite shite until dp came home and now I feel fine, which makes me feel worse as it means there was nothing actually wrong with me but instead I was just being lazy and sulking

Probably Tatties. I have been carrying my mooncup in my pocket for the last week in an expectant sort of way.

Franny, I will make you another. It has juicy homegrown things and excellent mangoes and a hand moulded chocolate spoon.
There

And another for Tatties.

Guadalupe · 08/07/2008 21:06

zippitippitoes · 08/07/2008 21:07

Will talk later, have to go and read to children.....

Tatties · 08/07/2008 21:11

Thank you for fruit salad TooT and especially the chocolate spoon I am worried now that it was rude, asking if you were premenstrual

Avi I guess by that it wasn;t actually wet which was probably something...

I have yoga'd

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 22:16

Don't be silly Tatties, I thought it was very caring and considerate of you

Tatties · 08/07/2008 22:29

Phew TooT that is how I meant it

Tatties · 08/07/2008 22:31

Are you back already Avi? Oh I quite fancy sleeping in a tent you know. I imagined it lying in bed the other night, when it was raining and I had all the windows open

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 22:34

Oh, we definitely need a camping meet up

FrayedKnot · 08/07/2008 22:35

Did someone mention flapjack?

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 22:39

Yes yes. The darker ones are the choc and banana, the others apple and cinnamon

Tatties · 08/07/2008 22:39

Somewhere with nice toilets and showers though

FK talk to me about your yoga

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 22:41

Compost toilets. No slippery floors.

FrayedKnot · 08/07/2008 22:43

It makes me hungry, Tatties

What would you like to know?

Oh just how does it make you feel, do you enjoy it? I did some a LONG time ago at school, and I did pilates more recently. I am thinking about maybe doing one or the other again in my next life

TooTicky · 08/07/2008 22:50

Hello Avi, have some flapjack
