OJ, I think this holiday is exactly what you need right now. Just spending time with the kids (without the daily pressures of routine and other demands) or lazing by the pool sounds very relaxing. I hope you are able to sleep a bit better. Enjoy the sunshine and the sea air. xxx

I do feel cheated that other people have seen Steve in their dreams, it is 6 weeks tomorrow and I need to see him to over write the last time I saw Steve which still haunts me. I will be more at peace if I can see him again.
It is nice to spend time with the kids away from the pressures. Elliot asked me how he would get enough love now his dad was gone, I have told him I will always love him as much as I can and listed all the other people who love him, he said that gran & grandad don't love us anymore I told him they are just too busy and also feeling sad, the kids have lost their dad and all the inlaws at the same time which is sad, I can only hope that I can try to make them feel loved special and secure they deserve it so much they have been so brave.

oj .they havent lost the in laws.The inlaws have lost them.Was they ever close to ILs.THey are very selfish people and if they did bother to see the children they would be very nasty about you etc.I am sure your children are very loved.It is sad they have not having contact with ils but it is better they dont mix with nasty bitter people.They know what love is from you and steve and your lovely friends.Have a great holiday and if you do spred steves ashes or not just enjoy the sun and rum /coke and the time with your children and tracey.Enjoy your self as well as much as you can under the circumstances.You could not have done any more than you did for steve.It will shine through from the love you had with steve.

Just had a text from Jo. She's lost her internet connection so can't MN. Tracey has paid her huge medical bill and they are feasting on tirimusu and grand marnier souffle.

UPDATE FROM OJ!

Jo has just sent me the following text from Lanzarote:

"We took some ashes down to the beach tonight, the kids all buried some in the sand and then wrote messages on the top, we sent some out to sea too, it was both sad and beautiful."

So glad she felt it was the right time and place for her to do this, and with her best mate & children beside her too.

I am glad we did the ashes it was beautiful and seemed very right for Steve.
Tracey took lots of photos of the love hearts and messages in the sand.
Tracey & izzy are on the plane as I type this, we are missing them massively.
Abbey pulled the iPod chargers so hard out of the iPods that the chargers broke, which is a disaster as it is my iPhone charger too, have spent ages looking round the shops here to find a charger which cost a fortune but at least I can charge my phone.

Glad you have been able to say your goodbyes in such a fitting way.

bossy put down that umbrella and stop digging it into itatis back there is plenty of sangria to share.
I had a creepytaxi driver who brought usback to the villa, he gave me a price of paper with his phone number on it and said drink later? I told him I was married and showed him my rings, I think he got the message but I was worried everytime I heard a noise last night.

Hi Jo as you know me and Isabel got back home ok. We miss you all so much. Was so proud of you all and glad I could share the week with you. You have plenty of rum in and banana liquor to finish so have an extra glass for me each night {grin}
Mner's hope you are all well and your posts and texts to Jo have provided great comfort in Lanzarote. I know this next week will be another step with more emotional challenges for Jo and the kids and Steve will be so proud of them all.
