For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

no, don't worry please chaps, I have never done scream and grab
you can see my temptation though and tbh if we had done it on Friday it would have caused us all LESS stress than all the kerfuffle and upset which managed to drag on all morning...
however we have had a good day today until about half an hour ago
I have banished begged them to go to supermarket as we are low on some stuff and I seem to get very tense about this atm if we are running out of some things (sorry this is embarrassing as I know some people are struggling with empty cupboards)
anyway am going to try to relax

sorry about cancelled bouncy castle and I do hope we hear small Boco news soon

Boco if you had website you could offer a choice of scenes like the one for Lully's ds and you could put their name on it
for lotsa cash obviously

Hello all,

Have been stressign all day about getting DD's hair into french plaits for her ballet exam (at age 3!), thankfully it is now over and she is asleep, as she is worn out by it all, no such luck for me, sigh, have to look after ds as dh is gutting a bedroom, so we can re-decorate to get it ready to move dd into.

I just want to lie down and sleep for a week.

Brekkie: nectarine, strawberries, passion fruit, banana, raisins, pineapple, spelt and natural yoghurt.

Lunch: cous cous with spinach salad, raisins and mandarins with tuna.

Boco, that picture is just beautiful. Could you do a website? Personalised canvases, or even cards would be fab.

womblingalong · 21/06/2008 16:43

I know Franny, very PFBish isn't it? She wanted to, and it is 5 minutes long. They do a short dance and need to be turned out correctly, thats all (They all pass too)

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2008 16:46

oh no I was thinking how lovely and grown up she must have looked

and some too as I always wanted to do ballet but was never allowed (have allowed this to torment me to extent I actually tried to take it up aged 32 - the shame)

Hello.

I haven't been very F&V ish lately, but am cheerful.

I was never allowed to do ballet either, as my mum had to and didn't like it. I still contemplate trying (am 32 ).

womblingalong · 21/06/2008 17:29

Kale and peas

dust hands, done.

womblingalong · 21/06/2008 17:30

I did 21 years of ballet, and it still hasn't put me off sending DD.

fullmoonfiend · 21/06/2008 17:38

kale and peas is very good...

fullmoonfiend · 21/06/2008 17:39

oh wombling, I did ballet for years...and then, just ewhen i was starting to get quite good I discovered boys and eating chips hanging round the town square...

it would have been nice to have continued a bit longer as it is one thing non-existant norks are good for!

FrayedKnot · 21/06/2008 17:56

I did ballet for several years, and jazz ballet, and a bit of flamenco, but was not allowed to learn tap, so I decided to take it up aged about 30

It was a laugh - we even did a show

Sadly can;t do it now due to bad foot or flamenco which is what I would really like to try again now if I could.

I bet DD looked lovely, Wombling!

Am making rhubarb and gooseberry cake. Will probably be my entire fruit consumption today as we don;t have much for some reason.

Franny you are nesting

fullmoonfiend · 21/06/2008 17:56

at gooseberries, mine are nowhere near ready yet...

FrayedKnot · 21/06/2008 17:56

Riders on the Corn

FrayedKnot · 21/06/2008 17:58

Veg box, not ours, FMF

UnderRated · 21/06/2008 17:58

FK, it was unanimous until you did that!

UnderRated · 21/06/2008 18:01

I am having a what to wear problem - have to go to party on the beach this afternoon which will mean sand, water, mud, cake & frizzy hair. Then I have to sit on the train for an hour to meet Man and can't go home in between to get changed/ cleaned. Eeek.

UnderRated · 21/06/2008 18:05

OOo, how self-absorbed do I sound?
