For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lol @ shiny and tight

Do any of you know, can I make peppermint extract at home. From peppermint?

Guadalupe · 20/06/2008 19:33

very tight, Franny?

Boco · 20/06/2008 19:35

Well, I said to Lully that I'd paint her ds a picture as a thank you for sending me a monsoon voucher that she said i could use when I was going to that exhibition in London - and I spent it on sparkly things. And she told me he loves dinosaurs, so I'd started the painting, but then she had a thread saying she was looking for a black bear suit for her ds as he needed it for a nursery play, and I have a very good one, so sent it, and put him in it for the picture because I thought it would look nice and they could make up a story about it.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:35

well really fairly shiny and tight, yes
he's gone out cycling in it though
so no fecking use to me

Franny are you rubbing your hands in a doorway?

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:36

the bear suit makes it look like a proper story
will Lully tell it to us all?

Guadalupe · 20/06/2008 19:39

His thighs will ache from all that perching, Avi, he might need a rub.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:40

ok, so my 2 brand new strawberry plants are not doing quite so badly then. I obviously had very high expectations

Boco · 20/06/2008 19:51

Thank you - i'm not very good at showing people, which is why i will never make a success of this illustration thing, I'm crap at sending things off and selling things - I have no idea if i'm deluding myself completely and am being totally stupid even trying to do illustration. So thanks for all being nice.

Avi what are mr A's books about? They'd HAVE to be better than the one's I've been drawing for which were terrible.
