Cantaloupe, cantaloupe! Will you eat the bad mango? - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh Boco
Ds adores it
He is only ever quiet when thoughtful & most pleased & taken aback with something.
He has put it on the shelf by his bed so he can look at it while he goes to sleep.
He also said 'Mummy, how come we dont ever actually see
any of your computer friends. Are they really real?'

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 18:45

I'm not real

can we see the picture?

I've organised a baby shower type thing tonight - my friend chose the restaurant. Yesterday, a group of women were discussing a really bad meal in a terrible restaurant which, if course, is the one we are going to tonight. When I said, "Oh no, we're going there tomorrow," they looked worried and said, "Oh, it'll be fine. Have the meat. Or fish. Just don't order the vegetarian options" They then backtracked a bit and said, "well, the mushroom one might be okay. Why don't you eat before you go..?"

LullyOfShallot · 20/06/2008 18:48

Hmmm...if I can borrow a card reader I could take a photograph
I miss my laptop, this mac is useless

LullyOfShallot · 20/06/2008 18:49

Oh dear UR

UnderRated · 20/06/2008 18:51

Glad he likes the picture so much Lully.

4 or 5 is very good, especially in one meal. I have only managed 3 today. And dinner is not sounding promising, is it? But I did eat a whole pineapple yesterday.

fullmoonfiend · 20/06/2008 19:01

waves at the Lady Who Is Not Here.

Toot, that doesn't sound at all pleasant.

I want to see Boco's pic.

Well Done Franny! That is most excellent!

Off to potentially dire party in a church hall now. With suspected Karaoke

Boco · 20/06/2008 19:09

I did scan it in before I sent it, (only part of it as scanner is A4 size and picture bigger) so have it as a jpeg, but don't know how to link to it. If anyone knows I can show you. Or can send as an attachment in an email if anyone really wants to see.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:12

you could upload onto picturetrail or similar
or email to me and I can do it?

I have eaten all the chocolate Avi sent
dp says "you don't look at all pregnant from behind....just FAT"
and laughed until he choked

Me,me meeeeee, I wanna see the picture.

Did you throw something at him, Franny?

Boco · 20/06/2008 19:24

this should be it, you can click on it to enlarge - it's one slice of it anyway.

Guadalupe · 20/06/2008 19:24

peanut butter on toast

nearly a whole boursin on ryvitas with some token cucumber

fish and chips

banoffee pie

There. What a shining example I am to you all.

I doubt I will be able to do up my dress at this rate. We have the most revolting motorhome to drive to Stiffkey. I would have liked a 1967 split screen but no, we have a ford with a microwave. Sigh. I would rather come home but it will be nice to be on the marsh.

I have so much to do and still I sit here, loosening my belt.

littlerach · 20/06/2008 19:25

How rude, Franny.
I think I would throw soemthing at him

Excuse carp typing, have painted m y nails ready for the wedding.
They are silver.

Teeny potatoes, broccoloi, carrots and sweetcorn.

Grapes.
Banana.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:29

Boco it's beautiful! Lucky Master Lully

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:30

I think the first one is stupiderest though

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 20/06/2008 19:30

are you going to a wedding too, little rach? I am so unprepared it's untrue.

100x - a holiday is a good plan, we always have to go home from a holiday so we will send you packing with photos and souvenirs. I like that. A holiday on mnet rather than a holiday from it.

Franny - naughty dp, throw something at his head, maybe not something hard and painful but will pop and make a mess.

FrannyandZooey · 20/06/2008 19:31

I'm eating strawberries, grapes and apple
unless I type otherwise, you can assume I am eating something
