For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

apparently exh is having dinner with dd1 in the spoare house

UnderRated · 17/06/2008 19:08

WHo has the temperature? If a little one, Under 2 ( or 3) and they seem unwell, I'd call the dr.

I'd give calpol at that point so I am not sure what else to suggest.

TooTicky · 17/06/2008 19:12

ds2, he is 6

fever strip thing says 104 but it seems inaccurate - it says everbody else is 36 (sorry to work in 2 gauges)

UnderRated · 17/06/2008 19:12

Does he seem really lethargic or unhappy?

FrannyandZooey · 17/06/2008 19:13

ooh it's down a bit, now 38

UnderRated · 17/06/2008 19:18

Poor thing. At 104, he'll be feeling hot and cold and achey and generally pretty yucky but it should pass. Keep him comfy and make sure he drinks plenty. And keep en eye on the temp. If it goes up, I think you should call a dr.

TooTicky · 17/06/2008 19:19

104 = 40

he has just had wee carton of juice

was having sips of water before
