My heart was in my mouth reading through this thread and I really should have known that Steve would hang on it there.

I know I wish he was my Father. He truly is the most fantastic person.

OJ, lovie, you are stronger than anyone could hope to be. Nothing to say on here about the in laws but I 100% know where you are coming from regarding your family, I have been there and got the solicitors bill, so you can email me if you need to talk more about it.

Happy Birthday to Abbey and Bethan. You will be able to tell them how much Steve loved them that he fought to stay for their birthday.

Only you will have a better perspective into Mike's motives. It does sound very intimidating but, as someone has said equally it could just be misguided. Anyway, you do need to keep everything logged "just in case" which is the last thing you need to worry about at the moment. I'm sure you know this but there should be a duty sw on over the weekend if you feel you need advice. When I worked in social services, any cases that might need assistance over the weekend were flagged up, so if you feel things cant wait, I would call them if I were you.

I hope you can put this to one side although it must be so difficult. I hope there are some happy memories for the girls and you and E today...and I am praying that Steve makes it through for themxx

thanks for all your wishes, mike well knows about my past, Steve family know that the way to get to me are throu my birth family or my kids being taken away I am still waiting for them to report me to social services just to get at me.
lots of birthday cards came today, Mil sent one for Abbey but nothing for bethan, bethans may have got lost in the post but equally she may not have sent her one.
I am on door duty now sitting waiting to let the nurses in as no mates here at the moment.
I have been sick this morning and have a headache. I hate what his family are doing and how it makes me feel. Mike was clever enough to wait until the sw had gone home for the evening before he started kicking off.
have taken lots of photos of birthday girls will try to put some on here later.
I hope the nurses hurry up cos I need to get back to Steve.

I am just sorry to hear that Mike has been so poisoness over your family on purpose. Once you can please take all that you can to help your headache so you can have some special happy memories of the girls' birthday.

Re. your BIL, OJ, I think it is worth reporting/logging his behaviour with the police. From what you said about your birth family and the possible consequences of what Mike's done, it sounds like you have valid security concerns and that is reason enough to to involve the plod. Obv only you know the details, but if you have any concerns over possible visits/contact from your birth family then please don't hesitate to protect yourself and your family.

Anyway, here's hoping you have a fantastic day with Steve and the kids (and lots of rum truffles, of course)

I can only say that I know you have the strenght and fight to put all of that out of your mind today for the girls, I know you will make sure this birthday will be as happy as possible for the girls, for you all. I pray that Steve will be with you for a little while yet, becvause I can truly understand how incredibly hard it will be if he leaves you today.
