For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Franny, your e-mail made me laugh about your modern, open-minded ds

Night all (I always want to put a kiss on but don't know if it would scare people)

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:24

Pink I was baffled too.

I have won a prize!! It is a shopping trolley. A rather 10/10 one. Will post a picture later

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:30

Morning chaps
slightly under ripe but edible mango
pineapple
melon

I think the gutter man is here and he's about to come in the back garden without knocking
we're having breakfast
I always feel a knob when people arrive to do work and you are sitting round eating or something
don't know why

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:32

I pace and starve when Persons are here.

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:32

oh I am of the 10 / 10 shopping trolley
mine is black and dull (so useful though)

FK the cushion is fab
I sit in state with my feet on Tatties' birth ball, leaning on your magnificent cushion, and squirting MrsCarrot's lovely spray

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:33

Are you having breakfast in the garden? [curious]

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:34

our window cleaner always wants to have lunch with us and I know he does and I go to elaborate lengths to make sure he doesn't
I wouldn't have minded a year ago in fact I would have liked it as I fancied him, but he had an enormous stupid rant about Muslims and immigration and now I am about him

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:35

no but dining room table right next to garden and has window and glass door about a foot from me

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:36

Is he a potential 10/10er then apart from the iffy principles? Or is it you he likes?

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:37

I don't know if it is the gutter man actually
whoever it is is just sitting there in the back alley, in a van
probably watching me eat my mango, thinking 'ponce'

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:38

erm it's me
but not in that way
much
I don't think

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:39

well actually I think he does a LITTLE BIT
but now I have gone off him
and I am up the duff and he is staying away
so we have very dirty windows

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:40

You have a back alley big enough for traffic? Like in Lancashire?

FruiTicky · 05/06/2008 08:42

Up the duff is an understatement at this stage. You are now at the peak of the duff, swaying gently in the breeze.

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:43

erm
I've only been to lancashire once I think
their back alleys didn't strike me greatly so can't really answer
it goes to our garages
don't think anyone actually parks their car in them though
the children play football out there sometimes (but more often against our FENCE which is DESTROYED )

Tatties · 05/06/2008 08:43

Morning Think we will go to the library today. And buy some nice food from m&s. I really fancy some asparagus, was it you MrsC who had a whole plate of asparagus and parmesan? Mmmmmm

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:43

you are right
I am so up it I am almost down it again
I am dufftastic

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:44

ooooooh asparagus
is there no market Tatties? bet you could get 4 bunches for what they will charge you for one in M+S

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:45

I'm quite proud of the fact we didn't take the 'back alley big enough for traffic' motif any further TooT
I think you and I have a newly found maturity don't you

Tatties · 05/06/2008 08:46

YES Franny you are right I will look in the market (although often the stuff isn't that cheap)

LOL at back alley

Tatties · 05/06/2008 08:47

LOL again, I can't resist a good double entendre

FrannyandZucchini · 05/06/2008 08:50

my mum once rang me to complain she had been woken up by men coming up her back passage

I think I damaged something internally from strain of not laughing

Tatties · 05/06/2008 08:51

ROFL!

Guadalupe · 05/06/2008 08:55

Pineapple - duff
raspberries - mouldy
strawberries - tasteless, shadow of a former strawberry

much toast and jam to compensate.
