For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

IdrisTheDragon · 04/06/2008 12:33

I have no idea who anyone is

Whoever is in pain I hope it gets better.

I am a bit grumpy at DH at the moment as he forgot teh PTA meeting I was meant to be going to at 8pm last night and so came home cheerfully at 8:50 finding grumpy me.

He said I should have texted him to remind him. I had said in the morning.

I saw some cherries in M&S the other day, reduced from £14/kg to £10/kg with a big sign saying "Now £4/kg less!"

How much per cherry then?

20p? 25p?

I like cherries but not that much!

Hello veggers

Am getting back to fruity normal now that the house move is done, so thought I'd pop my head back in. Today's tally is: banana, apple, pear, carrots, melon. There may be more later.

-->>>>>>> good health vibes to all the sick peeps
