Truth about vaccinations quotes

These are quoted from www.vaccinetruth.org

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world, indeed its the only thing that ever does." Margaret Mead

For us to bombard a newborn baby with a whole battery of vaccines as, in effect, their very first immunologic experience I think is reckless beyond measure. I would say it borders on the criminal.
Dr. Moscowitz

Cost for vaccinations: $10.00
Cost of trip to McDonalds after vaxing: $10.00
Cost of hospitalization after reacting to vax: $300,000.00*
Cost of avoiding vaxes and knowing your child never reacts: PRICELESS

  • Actual bill United States

What is the name of the test that can be given to determine if a child can safely receive a vaccine?

It's called a breath test. You hold a mirror in front of the child and if condensation appears, they are still alive and cannot "safely" receive a vaccine.

Steve

Vaccination is a medical procedure that causes permanent and irreversible modification of the immune system

"The only shot my son needs is a shot at the future."

......Lori Mcilwain

Modern medicine" may well be defined as "the experimental study of what
happens when poisonous chemicals are placed into malnourished human
bodies." A. Saul Contributing Editor,
Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine (www.orthomed.org)

You can always put the vaccines in... but you can never take them out.

lailag - so what if your child had leukaemia? Would you sort that out yourself?

Gobbledigook · 24/01/2005 13:38

And the internet is a dangerous place - there is no regulation of what goes on here so I think it's very naive to think you can learn everything on it and be certain of it's validity.

Did anybody actually read that History of Vaccines post or did you all just scroll down through it? Anybody? I'm sure that gets the prize for longest ever post.

I think I'm a MN "crone"

FairyMum · 24/01/2005 13:53

I am 100% sure Lailag was being ironic. Very well written I thought.

I agree with a lot of what alwayssaythankkyou has said. it is right to be skeptical about pumping anyone full of drugs and therefore I will continue to research carefully. She is also right when she says that in decades past doctors announced Thalidomide was safe - just one example.I don't understand why so many people are hurling abuse at her, just because she is urging people to be cautious. I also agree with her attacks on the pharma giants. They are into profit before safety. On a slightly different note, I was chatting with my HV the other day and she informed me that women trying to get pregnant now who need a rubella booster can't have one because they have been withdrawn by the health authority. So they have to have a full MMR instead. I think that is outrageous.

Here are two of the best books about childrens health I have ever read. Both obtained from my local library.

How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor
by ROBERT S. MD MENDELSOHN
(also read Confessions of a medical heretic by the same author)

What you doctor may not tell you about vaccinations, by Stephanie Cave.

Well, overprescribed anti-biotics for one thing, so that various organisms are now immune to them.

Don't think doctors did the human race any great favours there.

Mind you, I'm not blaming them, they acted within the confines of their knowledge at the time. Just want to agree that doctors don't know everything and their advice should always be treated with caution.

Caligula · 24/01/2005 14:15

As should any other professionals, for that matter.

flashingnose · 24/01/2005 14:19

But my doctor has trained to be a doctor for 7+ years. With the best will in the world, there's no way I'm going to be able to match that level of knowledge, surely? Question carefully, yes, get a second opinion, yes, but DIY medicine on the internet??

IDEAS ON HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  1. Write an editorial in your local newspaper or an article for a national magazine.

  2. Contact local talk-radio stations and request guest speakers on vaccines. Be prepared with one or two contact names and telephone numbers or emails. (You may wish to peruse the support organizations listed on this website for appropriate contact names, i.e., Neil Z. Miller, Barbara Loe Fisher, Dawn Richardson, etc.)

  3. Start your own vaccine support organization.

  4. Develop a newsletter. Include information that you've researched, or solicit articles and data from other individuals and organizations.

  5. Organize a vaccine lecture. (Public libraries often provide free meeting rooms.)

  6. Purchase vaccine educational materials for resale.

  7. Write your legislators. Let them know that you are concerned about vaccine laws. Try to influence legislation to provide better options for concerned parents.

More ideas

  1. Contact local public health officials and/or social workers to let them know that you are available as a vaccine resource for concerned parents.

  2. Contact local and/or national TV stations and request stories on children who have been damaged by vaccines, or investigations into exaggerated pro-vaccine claims.

  3. Send information to pregnant celebrities, or to famous people who you have reason to believe may be receptive to your data.

  4. Coordinate your efforts with other vaccine organizations.

12.Print your own bumper sticker

If you go to this website: thinktwice.com/ you will find a link to "emotional responses". In that section you will find almost all the pro arguments in this thread with corresponding responses from the Thinktwice people. Very interesting read.

  1. Cut and paste random internet bumff to web discussion groups who are (largely) not interested?
donnie · 24/01/2005 14:29

so how long did Professor Sir Roy Meadows train for? and for how many years has he had pretty much carte blanche to remove children from their parents with no evidence of any abuse whatever? in fact I believe today he is in front of the GMC charged with professional misconduct. Of course there a good Doctors but there are lousy ones too, including the consultant last year whose solution to my daughter's viral skin condition - erythema multiforma - was 16 weeks of anti histimines and nothing else. And that was after several appts with 'normal' GPs - she was supposed to be the expert!! I found out loads more about erythema on the internet that she bothered to tell me. So training doesn't always equal being good at your job. I trained for 4 years to be a teacher and most of the time I'm good but I still have crap days.

WigWamBam · 24/01/2005 14:31

The website you lifted those suggestions from has the following disclaimer:

The decision regarding whether or not to vaccinate is a personal one. The authors of the Thinktwice Global Vaccine Institute are neither lawyers nor health practitioners, and make no claims in this regard. Therefore, none of the information on this website should be construed as legal or medical advice. Nor does anyone associated with this website recommend for or against vaccines. If you have questions regarding any of the information on this website, research immunizations to a greater degree so that you can make a wise and informed choice.

Not health practitioners. Not medical advice. Why are their recommendations more worthy than experts in their field?

alwayssaythanku · 24/01/2005 14:31

Flashing, doctors havent done anything to me thankfully. I dont let them near me. I approach health in a holistic manner both for me and my family and with one baby and two grown up children, have never been seriously ill, except for minor flu. That goes for the rest of my family. Nobody is sick, no genetic malformations and no time for doctors. Like i said before it takes a leap of faith to question what the docs tell you and what "society" believes. Unfortunately we have lost the "socratic" method and are now an "evidence" based society. To date no evidence exists that jabs work, no evidence exists that they are safe.
