For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

there was crunchy refreshing hearts of romaine with fiery watercress, mellow spinach, piquant rocket and aromatic basil leaves
finely sliced cucumber
some cheeky little tomatoes
a yielding avocado
organic mozzarella from pampered buffalo
the nicest vegan sausages of savoury tastiness
tender new potatoes
tangy beetroot
and finally the divine marinated artichoke hearts
all topped off with a silky mayonnaise

TigerFeet · 27/05/2008 20:48

I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a carrot.

Erm...

TigerFeet · 27/05/2008 20:49

UR

Is there something we can do? Can we campaign? Write to anyone?

MrsCarrot · 27/05/2008 21:16

I am not feeling poetical this evening

I am sorry

It is a splendid souonding salad though, worthy of sonnets

IdrisTheDragon · 27/05/2008 21:18

I am makign cauliflower cheese.
Soon I will be eating it

UnderRated · 27/05/2008 21:25

I like cauli cheese.

I would really like some Nutella. I know it's not very 10/10

Has anyone read the Zookeeper's Wife? It is very good.

IdrisTheDragon · 27/05/2008 21:31

I eat Nutella straight from the jar quite often very occasionally.

UnderRated · 27/05/2008 21:36

Thank you

I have also been known to eat Nutella straight from the jar

IdrisTheDragon · 27/05/2008 21:41

Your ex is a completely unprintable selection of words by the way.

I know that's not any help to you, but I wanted to let you know that I think it.

MrsCarrot · 27/05/2008 21:47

Mmmm, I love cauliflower cheese, I haven't had that for ages.

Franny - where have you gone? Are you cross that I am limerickless?

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2008 21:52

oh no! dp was on the pc
I didn't REALLY expect you to write a poem about my humble magnificent salad
good as it was
I think it actually needed a SYMPHONY composing about it tbh

I forgot to do counting
I think at least 12 or 13? (salad always confuses me); I had 10 by lunchtime as I forgot to say orange juice

Idris do you mean he is an Unspeakable Cunt? Hear hear to that

Does anyone want these canvas boys' summer shoes? I have 3 size 9s and a size 10. Some very worn looking but none worn out
one pair virtually new, only worn in the house (don't ask, we had a bare foot phobia phase)

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2008 21:53

I mean I have 3 PAIRS
I haven't got 3 shoes and then another shoe of a different size
that would be silly

MrsCarrot · 27/05/2008 21:57

Oh, good, I thought maybe the lack of rhyme and
the possibility of a name change might be too much!

MrsCarrot · 27/05/2008 21:58

Hello, I am late of yoga.

UR, I know you can't tell us much about the situation but it must be absolute hell for you

I feel helpless but I want to be helpful.

Do you have much RL support? Family? Friends?

MrsCarrot · 27/05/2008 22:04
