For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I must go to bed now but am fretting. Really hope things are improved for them by the morning

womblingalong · 28/05/2008 23:31

Oh Shit,

Have only just seen this, poor Boco and DD. How
awful that her DH can't support her. It seems so unfair that his lack of care for his own health has impacted so on Boco and the DC's.

Am happy to do anything that I can to help, once we have a better idea of what is going on.

Please let her know we all send our love and positive thoughts.

UnderRated · 29/05/2008 00:23

Bloody hell, poor Boco & co

Poland can be hard enough without having to deal with hospitals and a DP who is not himself. Poor love. Wish I could help. There is an MNer in Poland but I don't know where. Her name is Jessia I think

UnderRated · 29/05/2008 06:52

Any news from Boco?

foxinsocks · 29/05/2008 08:04

I don't want to post from work and I also can't access my email address book so if you want updates, someone needs to email me so I can email them iyswim. I've got ahundred's email but I'm not sure she's around. If she is, I'll let her know otherwise, if you could ask Franny to email me (think she has my email), I'll email her back.

E off drip and a bit more perky. Still breathing funny.

MIL has figured out she can use her phone and is coming in this morning. Boco has told her about the food so let's hope she will bring some. The English speaking doctor (a little bit of English) has said she will come back and speak to her at some stage.

foxinsocks · 29/05/2008 08:11

also they gave her a grey block as food - some sort of fishy meaty paste ewww lol

she has said she will try and go back to the apartment today for a bit of a break once ils arrive (and leave dh and them with dd) so that's good

berolina · 29/05/2008 08:11

Thank you for update, FIS. Do hope things are looking up for them.

berolina · 29/05/2008 08:25

apple, banana, kiwi, OJ, spelt wheat flakes

I can't stop thinking of poor Boco. It was dreadful enough when ds2 was hospitalised for breathing problems - in an all-mod-cons German hospital where food (of a sort ) was provided and I could speak the language. Poor thing I have racked my brains to think if I know anyone who can even speak Polish, but (to my shame, living in Berlin which is full of Poles) I don't. If she was nearer the border I'd be on the train.

Hello to UR, if you're around.
10/10ers do seem rather jinxed atm

pinkspottywellies · 29/05/2008 08:58

Oh God I haven't been on for 3 days cos DH said I was addicted to MN and couldn't not come on for 3 days so I didn't and I missed all your stuff UR and now I'm crying It's NOT FAIR. Anyway I haven't got time to catch up on everything cause I need to get ready and we're going to Norfolk this afternoon.

pinkspottywellies · 29/05/2008 09:00

Oh bloody hell. What's happened with Boco? Oh hell I have to wash up and pack

fullmoonfiend · 29/05/2008 09:25

thanks pink
Glad you had a nice bithday(s)!

I have a hurricane lantern (huzzah!) some beautiful sunflowers (huzzah!) a wind-up radio for boat/allotment/camping etc (huzzah!)
An amazing home made cake made by the boys at grandma's (with whisky butter icing!) a clematis, some lovely ear-rings, some more rainbow mugs and breakfast in bed.
And the sun is shining....

stuffitllama · 29/05/2008 09:25

am so sad for Boco and her dd .. is anyone collecting for a food parcel/ phone charger?

have no mouse poo to weave helicopter from

feel useless

UR I want to send you a but not saying anything

but and bestest wishes for you

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 09:49

oh morning FMF and happy birthday! I am crap at remembering but I DID remember you when I woke up this morning, I just thought it was today, am so happy you are having a lovely time and sunshine too

Pink welcome back I did wonder if you had been whisked away for your birthday somewhere exciting. Am impressed by the 3 day challenge. If dp said the same to me I would say "yes of COURSE I am addicted now get out of the way of the screen"

Good news about Boco and the grey block. That's how we like to hear one of our own being taken care of. I will try to email fox in a minute but my email server is a bit rubbish at storing emails where I can find them. PLUS am going out (hopefully) most of day so it might be better if MrsC texts Boco also. How did she sleep? I felt terribly warm and comfortable and guilty last night when snuggled up in bed. So hope dd2 rallies today and they can think about getting home quickly.

If anyone thinks they can organise a parcel for Boco then go for it, but we have no idea where she is atm
maybe wait and see how things develop, hopefully the ILs are on the ball today

orange, banana, kiwis, grapes, apple, raisins, strawberries (not full portions of each)
probably about 4.5 or 5

she didn't sleep great at all

but is hoping to pop back to apartment for a rest/shower when ils arrive

(dd being more perky is a good sign I think, makes her feel a bit better about being able to sort herself out now)

foxinsocks · 29/05/2008 10:01

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 10:20

CYTEEN I found the skirt you might like. It is too short for me. Has a deep stretchy bandeau sort of waist and a flary skirt, above knee length on me, jersey cotton material, black colour
