Hi Fairyfly,
Really glad your mum's op went ok. Have you got the results yet? We had to wait over two weeks for ours because of xmas holidays. Hope they don't put you through that. {{{{hugs}}}}. Sorry I haven't posted on this thread for a few days but having seriously crappy time with the DS situation. Thought of you though, especially yesterday as mum had her first chemo session. It went fine and so far she is feeling no ill effects at all. Really hope you and your mum are OK.

Oh dear amymum, hope it doesn't last to long, its sounds terrible. Thinking of you also and i hope it will run a smoothly as possible and she doesn't need too many sessions. I hope your not to down, everyything can be an incredible strain sometimes.

My mums results are on friday, i have been on a high from the op going so well that i forget that more is to come. Today has been the first day i've had a little panic and thoughts of gloom. I felt like having a little cry and ringing her up but decided against it. Last thing she needs is to worry about me. So fingers crossed for them both i say x

Thanks Slink

Sitting here waiting for my mum to ring. Its her appointment today to tell her what kind of cancer it is and if it has spread.

My sister just told me that she been soing some research. My mum had galndular fever when my sister was born. They gave her a drug to stop her breastfeeding. This drug was banned ten years ago for causing breast cancer.
