I'm scared tonight, i hate waiting for people to come out of theatre. I'm dreading tomorrow.

Hugs fairyfly. This must such an awful time for you. Can you plan to do something like shopping tomorrow just to keep you busy and occupy your mind? Probably sounds like the last thing you would want to do, but it may be best to keep busy. Do you know what time she will be due out of theatre? Will she be staying in overnight?

JanH · 23/01/2005 19:08

It will be a very long day for all of you - miam is right, you need to do something to take your mind off it, not just hanging around waiting.

Did she go in tonight or is she going in the morning? Only sometimes the beds that were supposed to be free on the day aren't after all, which is really frustrating. I know it's hard but try to distract yourself somehow. XXX

I'll be at college with my mobile phone. I'll loose myself in some work. Tomorrow she is admitted so fingers crossed what you say doesn't happen. I know this is incredibly morbid but deep down somewhere you always dread the worst. Thanks Miam and Janh

My my mum looks fantastic, really glowing. Will not stop moving her arm and doing all her excercises, physio is amazed with her and i am very proud. When i walked in to her room she had her hands stretched above her head practising.
