It's anarchy

Also definitely go to the doctor. Might as well, even if there's nothing to be done.

stuffitllama · 16/05/2008 19:12

he sounds v v excellent 100 !

Boco · 16/05/2008 19:12

Panache far more important imo.

berolina · 16/05/2008 19:29

Oh dear Boco, sounds grim. dh gets migraines regularly, but they are rarely that severe. He seems (IMinexpertO) to get them when down on sleep and/or dehydrated.

Hurrah for 100x ds

Franny - Kiki? Is that a supplement? Am beginning to think that despite virtuous F&V intake I must be deficient in something. I have very weak nails too, but they don't snap, they bend .

dh has been to the centre of Berlin to buy me Aveda comforting tea oh I love him. We have been getting on each other's wick (or alarm clock , as they say in Germany) a lot lately, but he is SUCH a good egg. I am very very lucky.

MrsCarrot · 16/05/2008 20:01

Boco - I have never had a migraine but I have friends who get them badly and that is exactly how they describe it, two days of lights and pain and puking. I think you will notice your own triggers but hopefully they won't come regularly.

That is annoying that your mum will go and you can't, I agree. My mother is always seeing my friends about town and at parties and festivals. Actually I got a card from your mother yesterday. She did some Angel cards for me? It was very kind of her though I don't know what they are.

I feel almost normal today, it was very hard not to get carried away and be too busy. We went shopping and I felt tired after but not too bad. Do you know, I forgot to get the bloody carrot cake?

I should imagine that there will never be a funny from 10/10 as no-one but 10/10 ers read the thread, well, not MP or anyone likely to nominate anyway.

MrsCarrot · 16/05/2008 20:02

Hurray for mini Johnny Lee, a splendid swimming effort.

BBBee · 16/05/2008 20:47

hi

which thread won then?

fuck does boco have a migraine - have youe eaten / taken anything different or do you often get them?

hello all'

Boco · 16/05/2008 20:51

No don't get them at all Bee, first one and no idea why.

Oh MrsC, I did an inner cringe at angel cards. Sorry about that. She does it all the time to everyone. I had to wrestle a healing blanket off her in the car and persuade her to just stick to the facts and not offer you any kind of spiritual weirdness. She sneaked it in the post!

OsmosisBanana · 16/05/2008 21:02

UR - I went to the same school as Sir Jilly of Cooper. It's the law that I read her tomes.

OsmosisBanana · 16/05/2008 21:06

100, your DS sounds ace. Can I send my DD round for some early sporting lessons? Not that I'm going on holiday and need a babysitter or nuffink.

It's not a school night! I'm having a beer!

AND as soon as I got in I went for a run (not to the offie) and did my normal circuit in 3 mins less than usual!!

I'm gonna do the Bristol 10k next year. I reckon that could be easily manged. 10k is not that far.... Seeing as 2.5k takes me about 20mins at a jog now at my hideous levels of unfitness.

berolina · 16/05/2008 21:11

Sympathy please. The feel-better effect of my bath evaporated as soon as I got out of it. My head hurts (a tight-band-around-upper-forehead headache). Legs hurt. Shoulders hurt. It's sodding flu, isn't it? I am going to infect all the guests (I can't cancel now, and as I am not running a fever I am hanging on to the last bit of hope that it's just tonsillitis or a cold), and the lovely Ellbell will hate me.

MrsCarrot · 16/05/2008 21:20

I think 10K is quite far...

Boco - don't cringe, I thought it was really sweet of her! There was a mention of Angel something in the book, I just wasn't sure what they were. Are they like Tarot? Did you really make her leave the blanket in the car? I am imagining a hilarious sort of tugging conversation in the car. Let me know the address when she's back, i have a thank you card as well.

I have just eaten a very strange new kind of mango. It was tiny and very expensive and felt perfectly ripe so I thought I would try it but the flavour is very overpowering, sort of like floral gums. I'm all for a bit of floral flavour now and then but this was like sucking a powder puff.

TooTicky · 16/05/2008 21:32

Oh Bero, poor you Go to bed IMMEDIATELY and sleep well and deeply. Am sending instant getting better vibes.

Boco, am chuckling at you and yopur mother wrestling over a healing blanket

MrsC, how are you? Hope you're getting lots of rest!!

MrsCarrot · 16/05/2008 21:36

quite a bit, Toot, but I am getting bored of it now. The weather has gorn shite so that doesn't help. I feel like going for a very long walk, or a run. Last of the Mohicans is on atm and I feel specifically like running through a mid 18th century north American forest with the wind in my hair but I shall have to content myself with a turn.

TooTicky · 16/05/2008 21:38

Could you perch on a skateboard and be towed at speed? No, that's not really resting , is it

berolina · 16/05/2008 21:38
FrannyandZooey · 16/05/2008 21:39

odd new sorts of mango shouldn't be allowed
I am a self-confessed mango Luddite

OP posts:
womblingalong · 16/05/2008 21:49

Oooh no, different sorts of mango are lovely. Has anyone had a alphonse or kesar mango? They are divine, the pinnacle of mango-ness, in fact.

Poor you Boco - sounds grim, and you Bero I hope you are better for the party. I am sure you will get through, the adrenaline will kick in.

100, DS - what a trooper! How fab.

TooTicky · 16/05/2008 21:53

Hello Wombling

Oh yes, I meant to say...

I &really hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And many congratulations to little 100x boy!

TooTicky · 16/05/2008 21:53

That was to Boco, the feeling better bit.

ahundredtimes · 16/05/2008 21:55

Now you see that's why I love you 10/10ers. I can tell you all about how ds2 came last by about ten minutes in a swimming gala and we all cheer.

Very nice. I like that.

[does bowing with raised arms to 10/10ers]

Right. Am going to enjoy the fact that dh isn't here. I am going to um, well, um, lie in the middle of the bed for a bit?

DS1 just rang. He sounded so young on the phone. He said 'Dad brought the Cheerios with him, we ate them in the car.'

Am I going to have to ring dh and say 'He will need proper food. About three times a day roughly speaking' ?

Right. Here I go then. To, erm, flick through the channels.

womblingalong · 16/05/2008 22:10

Hello TooT,

OB, Job sounds crapola, but you have beer, and it is the w/end - hurrah!

UnderRated · 16/05/2008 23:40

Enjoy the peace, ahundred.

I go at the exotic looking mangos and stick with the ordinary ones. They were cunting this week but DS thought they were delicious so he ate the lot. I may try a papaya next week but I can never remember how to tell if they are ripe.

Fullmoonfiend · 17/05/2008 09:11

we're going to our bo-at, we're going to our bo-at!

FrannyandZooey · 17/05/2008 09:13

oooh have fun FMF
