For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

maybe not i was kind of house shaped when i was pregnant well particularly for dd2 and not at all conducive to flirting couldnt get with in hailing distance for a start

bastard insrance closed til monday. It's the not-knowing which is miserable...

It looks fixable but will cost $$$s. The roof-fix man said they might say it's a write-off in which case we could 'buy' it back and have repairs done anyway. But then whether we could get more insurance, having 'bought' a write-off, IFSWIM...

Has there been further talk of the meet up? Think I'm gonna have to pike out. 7 hours on the train is excessive I'm afraid. If it were a weekend.... Or camping was involved.....

Sorry people are feeling sensitive and having lots of bad luck. ((sneaky veggie hugs)) to those who need them.

I've been in the garden. My leeks are growing and I have planted lots of other things. But a feral cat is using my plot to poo in and I don't want to garden in a cat's toilet. Any suggestions?

I've had a great time going through my paperwork [sad loser emoticon] Have rid myself of all sorts of accumulated crap, including a whole carrier bag of print outs and job application forms from FOUR YEARS AGO - I am teh hoarder. Had a loud singalong to Candi Staton (sorry next door neighbours) and ripped up a load of old letters that have no meaning for me anymore. It was most cathartic!

Going to make pasta with a garlicky, chillified red pepper sauce for tea, yum.

Hehe, it's just a bog standard sauce really, but with loads of garlic in it. Pasta and tomato sauce is probably my most-eaten meal ever - it's a trustworthy standby that you can dress up any number of ways.

You might also be interested to know that I'm making garlic ciabattas as well

Gawd, what a day. Rang Ellbell in a panic this morning paranoid worried she thought the christening was this weekend and was on her way to Berlin Of course I had told her the change of date, of course she was home and hopefully had a little laugh at me. Later dh took ds1 out to do some shopping and I lay down to feed ds2 and have a doze - was just going off when dh rang saying he had trapped ds1's finger in the buggy when unfolding it and should he take him to A&E as it looked alarming ds1 screaming in background Anyway, they were not far from home so came here and it became clear the finger was alright - swelling subsided rapidly and ds1 was wiggling it painlessly - had just been very painful at the time But they had not done any shopping, of course, so as I was up anyway (and ds2 awake, of course) we all went out - ds2 got a big vanilla cone for being brave Came home and rowed with dh about the car seat he wanted to borrow for a trip to see PIL at dh's aunt's tomorrow (they live out in the country and are picking us up from nearest station - we have no car and only a up-to-13kg car seat) - it was really a glorified booster - to be used with an adult belt - no way was I having that with 11kg and 85cm ds1. We have now invested in a seat for him as there will be future occasions. But dh saw fit to first paint me as over-anxious and spoilsporty

Will re-add photos later. Off now to put ds1 to bed and hide under duvet hang washing up.

ds1 got the vanilla cone, of course. ds2 got bm in sling.
