For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:43

NOTHING is in season. Well okay, how about psb? It will leave bits in her hair though.

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 10:04

oh right i am a mate..that part of things i havent looked into thank you

lol at all this hypersensitivity

i ahve been assertive with the builder since i am paying an arm and a leg i am determined to get it done how i want

i suspect he is expecting cash which i dont have yet

i have had oats and raspberries

i am trying to be absitnent for a bit on the alcohol and caffeine front..havent had huge amounts of alcohol but it has crept in

and get myself on a righteous path of exercise

i am in the insecure phase re bf as he is uncommunicative when we arent seeing each other and i find it disconcerting and have to struggle with the idea and not be too clingy

might have overdone this tho by not replying to his email eiyther for more than 24 hours

we are probably going on holiday together later tin the year at least that is what we agreed last week anxiety has now set in again lol

all your children look lovely it makes me feel nostalgic i am tempted to post pictures of mine when they were children just to not be left out

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 10:06

Do we have any new titles lined up?

Dd2 seems to have welded herself to my breast.

Ds1 pleased with presents and has gone out for the day with Granny, which feels slightly odd.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 10:08

We'd love to see your children Zippi

Definitely avoid caffeine and alcohol if you are feeling insecure.

Good luck with builder.

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 10:09

hi all

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 10:10

i mean zippi's bf non communication

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 10:12

Sorry you're feeling low Stuffit. What might cheer you up?

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 10:19

I don't know Toot but thanks. Have absolutely no reason compared to other people's troubles and ailments. I'll go and come back later with a I hope. I think maybe some fruit and getting something done actually might do the job. Handwashing often makes me feel better [bizarre].

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 10:21

I mean, not washing my hands but clothes [brain fog]

Am pulling self together.

MrsCarrot · 10/05/2008 10:23

It is asparagus season, we have eaten it for the last three days in a row.

Boco - oh it was good, there was an air of excitement like being at a clandestine show or exhibition, there briefly and then poof, gone forever to be discussed in whispers.

Now, see here about photo sharing. I had forgotten that this carrot photo of me was bandied about and I do not remember agreeing to this At All.

Tatties · 10/05/2008 10:36

Oh no I have missed Bero's and 100's photos

But Franny your bump is fantastic! It doesn't look like cheese or pie at all, it really does look all baby

Cyteen and Boco's dd are gorgeous

Avi and Bero I think I have the same feet as you - a sticky out bit just below the base of your big toe?

Wombling your date sounds exciting!

Stuffit getting something done often makes me feel better too. Ds and I were just going to potter in the garden but it started to rain so I may have to get on with painting my bedroom

So far had some lovely fresh pineapple.

Where is FMF?

MrsCarrot · 10/05/2008 10:51

I had pineapple too, Tatties, it was delicious. Do you wish we could have tea again one day? I do, there was something about Brown's in a magazine and I really fancied the sandwiches.

Tatties · 10/05/2008 10:59

I do do do wish we could have tea again MrsC

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 11:03

MrsC, I need to know if your postman has been. There is no reason, I am Just Curious.

MrsCarrot · 10/05/2008 12:06

Toot - he has just been, and dropped off a little crochet blanket with carrots on the corners! Thank you, it must have taken ages. It is a bit warm today but I will save it.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 12:09
Smile
TooTicky · 10/05/2008 12:10

I hope you don't think it's too mad.

FrannyandZooey · 10/05/2008 13:01

LOL at all mad carroty things heading MrsC's way
MrsC we only showed a couple of people who ahd seen your photo anyway after the meet up
it was the same photo except you erm had the legs and body of a carrot
I mean BIG DEAL

100 god I would have killed for the deckchair and megaphone
was really uncomfortable and wincing about so was just a relief to have someone else doing it
she is not my assistant any more, I am now hers!
A very inept one
I slouched on sidelines and flirted with the dads
well talked to them anyway
I will flirt with them next week I shall make it my goal for the day

Stuffit unidentified gloom is horrid. I hope it lifts soon. Tell us if we can assist in meantime

was FMF going on her boat?

cyteen · 10/05/2008 14:11

I haven't done very well on the veg front so far - had to throw the rest of my strawbs away as they'd crossed the line into Mouldor, so I've only had grapefruit, grapes and a salady sandwich. Unlikely to go out for more stocks as I'm stuck at home sorting through my paperwork and packing up assorted crap ready for our house move next week. Oh well, it is the weekend after all, crap food ahoy.

stuffitall · 10/05/2008 14:23

Thank you all, Cyteen GOOD LUCK with the move. I hope you fill lots of bin bags. That will be a very good feeling.
Lol at ubersafe flirting when "heavily" pg Fran (inverted commas because you are nothing but bump)
Toot you must have hunted for lovely crochet blanket! unless you made it?

I've found a after some hefty digging. I wish we could grow veg. Maybe I'll be able to grow exotic things when we move. We used to have banana trees and one of our Chinese friends said you're not to have them in the garden as a ghost lives under each one.
