For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Morning

I have missed all photos. Anyone feel like sharing another time?

FrannyandZooey · 10/05/2008 07:54

morning chaps
Bero I left your photos to look at this morning and now they don't seem to work

another mango success! plus apple, raisins, melon, grapes

going to sports job and my replacement is running the session while I 'support' her
what can I do? I can't butt in and speak to the group
I can't actually do the activities
I can't put away and get out equipment for her (bending and getting down on the floor both out)
what can I do?
stand at sidelines and smile a lot?

Idris mine is still there [exhibitionist]
100's were the BEST though, I can still see them in my mind
her dh ought to be on the telly being comedy long suffering dad with cute children
in fact 100's whole family ought to be on the telly, one of those true life programmes
it would be such a hit
and they probably will be, once 100's book comes out

Oh yes I can see yours .

Very impressive bump. Although you need to put weight on quickly to be like me - I put on 4.5 stone with both DS and DD

FrannyandZooey · 10/05/2008 08:04

ah I'm doing my best Idris
not being able to trot around, and doing lots of eating, is aiding me immensely

BBBee · 10/05/2008 09:25

I have had some coffee.

FrannyandZooey · 10/05/2008 09:28

Boco it was fab
there was a video and 100 took us round her house like Lloyd Grossman and then she lay on her bed and told us loads of personal stuff about her life
and about how she really liked us all except you

oh god don't worry - that is nothing compared to my gimp mask tease. You are not nasty - boco is just so nice that guilt comes easily. Tease me and then you won;t feel nasty as am a prize bitch

ahundredtimes · 10/05/2008 09:33

lol. Franny I think you should sit in a deck chair with a megaphone and keep calling your assistant over and whisper instructions to her. You could be like Cecil B de Mille or someone.

Boco, you missed nothing. They were bonkers. I laughed about it in bed last night.

What I like most about this tv programme in which the nation will laugh at us - is that I will sit in gleaming shoes oblivious to the chaos around me saying 'I really do think a conventional conformist education is SO important.'

We are going to dd's school plant sale today. We MAY go to the apple orchard if it doesn't rain. I still need to buy clothes.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:36

100x, I was lying in bed last night worrying that I may have offended you by saying your dd had mad hair. Mad hair is good. Dd2 strives for mad hair, although it is always slightly mad anyway. It is an always used in an affectionate and friendly way

BBBee · 10/05/2008 09:37

oh god franny it will be brilliant. Get some good things in your head to think about and then sit and daydream and ignore it all going on around you. At the end be nice and tell her how good it was and then waft out.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:37

Have just restarted computer but am still plagued by dinosaurs.

ahundredtimes · 10/05/2008 09:37

lol. No! Of course not - it is mad hair. It changes on a daily basis. Now I am getting better at plaits we think that is the way to go. Except they stick out the side of her head - madly.

BBBee · 10/05/2008 09:37

oh no we are all being apologetic and senstive.

I am sorry to everyone for everything I said ever - including this.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:38

100x, I aM FRETTING.

Boco · 10/05/2008 09:38

Actually, you are all HORRID to me and I'm giving up vegetables.

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:39

Oh good. Hey, she could be like Pippi Longstocking. Has she read Pippi Longstocking?
