For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Boco · 23/04/2008 22:33

Yes Stuffit, at college I lived with 3 of them , and the other one lived next door. Still see 2 of them all the time, the third has just moved to Greece and the fourth to China.

Fox doesn't have a happy birthday thread, I don't think she likes birthdays very much, maybe we should start one anyway.

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 22:35

Shall I start a new thread for TooT?

TooTicky · 23/04/2008 22:39

dp has fuckwittedly been caught speeding.
Driving the community bus.
60 fucking quid fine.
ffs

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 22:40

thanks to all for lovely birthday wishes
all living together -- that is amazing
although i've heard that in a class of 30 kids it's more likely than not that two children will have the same birthday
what's toot's new thread?
how long are you shopping for km? i shop at least every two days so it's easy nothing goes off i buy it, we eat it

my boring tip recommendation is a bag of organic carrots for upping consumption, as you don't have to peel or wash them and they're right there to nibble

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 22:40

Ok I've done it. Over here!!

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 22:41

(no not shaped like a llama more like a controlled explosion)
