For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I have had 2 apples, spinach and ricotta lasagne (thanks FMF) & rhubarb crumble. Did some stretches/ pretend yoga too.

Am v tired.

UnderRated · 23/04/2008 02:57

Gah! Elevator man has been banging on my door for the last 20 minutes. I am hiding but I am sure he knows I am here and can here me typing. I don't want to answer the door.

Should I call him and tell him tomorrow that I'm not interested? I was hoping to just ignore it all and that he'd get the message.

Why oh why is he still knocking?

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 04:01

UnderRated · 23/04/2008 04:27

Yes, thanks stuffit. Was all very odd. Why were you up so late? I'm glad you were. I was shaking. Thanks

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 04:50

Hi I went to bed too early. You poor thing. It needs to stop right now. That's really odd behaviour and you are being so nice not wanting to hurt his feelings but it's better to be clear now and leave nothing to be misunderstood.

OsmosisBanana · 23/04/2008 11:34

Morning,

I have been given the most hideous task by one of the consultants here. It is WAY above the sort of task someone on my pay grade should be doing and is really complicated. I think they should give it to someone clinical, I don't understand most of it.

Ah well.

2 bananas, 1/4 or a melon.

Going to olive shed for lunch so spinach, butterbeans, toms, onions, artichoke hearts, etc etc.

Will prob be on 10 by the time I get home.

Sea bass for tea, any suggestions on how to cook it whole?

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 11:46

Jamie Oliver says lemon, parsley, fennel, tomato with sea bass or it could even stand up to olives and capers. Bake it whole stuffed with and resting on the fennel etc. Please can I come for dinner?

Franny can we help you find your mojo? Would chocolate help?

OsmosisBanana · 23/04/2008 11:56

Oh cool, I have fennel in the fridge that I was wondering what I was going to do with.

MrsCarrot · 23/04/2008 12:34

yes, fennel very good with bass and lots of roasted veg

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 12:46

Hello MrsC! You're meeting up with Franny in May aren't you? Can you read my questions below please? And how were you planning to get there?
