For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Tatties · 04/04/2008 12:45

Hello

Ds is being a bit horrid difficult today. We were out in the garden earlier and he kept saying he wanted to stamp on bugs and flowers Why would he do this and how do I deal with it? And every time I sit down he wants milk (in an annoying voice)

UR Lavender oil is my friend too

TooT thank you for the offer of shoes, but ds's feet seem to have slowed down. We are still on the other ones you sent, and some size 9 slippers he got at Christmas are too big!

FMF hope you got away ok!

Avi yes email me

Stuffit isn't it amazing how quickly all the tidying is undone

Small piece of apple. Large bowl of leftover stew - onion, swede, carrot, mushroom, potato, garlic, etc.

Oh good Tatties, you did see my message.

Can anybody else use some size 10 shoes? Franny? Lully? FK? Who else has a boy this sort of size? Otherwise they will probably sit around for years, or until Tatties' ds is bigger

Pink, I replied to your email but sometimes mine get lost so let me know if it hasn't arrived and I will try again.

Franny, I emailed you - no need to reply, but would be good to know if it arrived.

TooTicky · 04/04/2008 13:56

Oh, I made flapjack in the end - found a good, not-too-sweet recipe and added raisins, apple and a hint of mashed banana

lullabyloo · 04/04/2008 14:00

mmmmmmmmmm
they sound good Toot

Ds is already an 11.5

TooTicky · 04/04/2008 14:02

My dcs all have smallish feet. Ds2 (6) is only just in an 11. When dd2 started walking, we couldn't get actual walking shoes because she was a 2.5.

UnderRated · 04/04/2008 15:45

Morning all,

Can you post the recipe if you have a chance toot?

DS is being a meerkat

TooTicky · 04/04/2008 16:25

It was based on this one, UR.

My ds1 does a good meerkat

Tatties · 04/04/2008 16:32

What size is dd2 now TooT? I could see if we have any sandaly shoes from last summer if you like?

TooTicky · 04/04/2008 16:34

Ooh thanks She is a 5, poss 5.5

eternalstudent · 04/04/2008 18:45

Blimey. DH been in hosp all day with DD. Managed to get there at 4 to have to hold her tiny little writhing body whilst a succession of butchersmuppets trainees savaged her hands with needles. Feel sick. And I smell. Managed to catch some wee though so we finally got let out. Men are not good at catching wee it transpires.

clementines x 2

Where's a beer when you need one?

UnderRated · 04/04/2008 19:19

Thanks Toot - I love that website.

ES, that's awful. I hope she is feeling better. Have you any chocolate to make up for the beer?

2 bananas, raisins, juice, peas, tomatoes, mushrooms, grapes. And it's only lunchtime.

eternalstudent · 04/04/2008 19:26

Nope, I do have a very large pile of washing up and a stinking bin to make up for it though

BBBee · 04/04/2008 19:59

FZ - have sent rambling email on asd

FrayedKnot · 04/04/2008 20:08

IdrisTheDragon · 04/04/2008 20:09

Hello.

ES, poor DD.

I have not been eating particularly 10/10 ishly. I will make a New Effort next week .

My sister is getting married tomorrow. I am very excited .

TooT, DS wears size 10 shoes....

eternalstudent · 04/04/2008 20:15

We're ok, DD is built like a brick dunny. Apparently they are '90% sure' it isn't meningitis!!!!!!!!!!

UnderRated · 04/04/2008 20:16

ES, I think a beer is justified tonight.

Enjoy the wedding, Idris.

I'm cold, tired and bored. DS is trying to have a nap so I should be cleaning or something.
