Help me, i have just had one of those phone calls you dread.

DD has seen a consultant for tests recently, she is behind at school and seems emotionally immature. We had lots of academic tests done, took about 2 hours. She seemed to do ok.

We were then sent to the hospital for blood tests. I have no idea what for. The hospital just phoned me and said can the consultant come to the house one evening this week and speak to me about the results. They said they need my husband to be home too.

I am terrified. Has anyone else had a consultant come to the house? Am shaking and cant get hold of my husband or my mother.

She is coming tonight.

Wow that is a long time to wait,

Hope DH is making you feel a bit better LG&T, and whatever comes of it, you know we are all here, and I am sure if there is anything any of us can do, it will be done in an instant.

Oh god - how scary. Have only just seen this.

Fingers crossed that it is something really simple and the consultant will be kicking herself for worrying us all you so much.

My tummy is flipping, you poor thing.

Imagine us all there with you now - sitting in your front room, making you tea (or large g and ts!) and just holding your hand, being there for you. Im sure we all would be given half the chance.
