For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

apparently it is a common fault with VW campers
the doors also do fall off
and as I say our clutch went spectacularly but nobody gave us the tip about changing between 3rd and 4th gear THANK GOD or we might still have it and I would be running alongside and jumping in

oh i know the harold and maude florist in bristol - i would love to see the film - i loved little miss sunshine too - the bit at the end is a warm and squidgey. I still have boco film and i will send it where I am told. i do like it though. i do watch the end every so often.

i want to watch brief encounter - i like that too.

toot - if you want to be a ta there are courses and stuff - i have books you could borrow too. it is becoming quite a specfialised role if you want it to with lots of interesting training and niches to specialise. you would be great at it.

love to all.

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 19:17

That sounds promising, Avi (DS & bed, I mean). Am glad your DN has you to help her out.

I have worked as a teacher and a TA, Tooticky. Not sure I can be much help though as I've been away for so long.

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 19:22

Why no lights?

lionheart · 31/03/2008 19:24

Hello.

FMF, hope you are feeling less shaky.

How was your last day, Idris?

Just remind yourself that they are gone now Franny, and put your feet up.

TooTicky · 31/03/2008 19:27

Dp has disconnected trhe downstairs lights because they keep tripping everything out.

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 19:39

Oh, hope it's easily fixed.

Has anyone seen Anorak recently?

FrayedKnot · 31/03/2008 19:46

Hello again

I'm sorry lots of people's days have been trying.

Inhale...exhale...inhale....exhale...

If you have salad and it's enough to generously fill a pasta dish, how many portions do you count it as?

I have eaten lots of salad today. And blueberries.

Fullmoonfiend · 31/03/2008 20:14

can I put my name down for Harold and Maude whenever whoever is finished with it? I keep reading great reviews of it!

Fullmoonfiend · 31/03/2008 20:15

Oh I have that Optimum Nutrition bible too !

BBBee · 31/03/2008 20:17

do you have jet lag?

I hate the clocks changing and I grumble about it to lots of people - including you.

I had my hair cut today adn my friend asked me if I had a moon diary - she is german and there are certain days when you can;t have your haircut and something about your period too. I did a kind of interested smiling nodding thing whilst simultaneously thinking:

1- you are nuts

2- I must tell the hippies freaks weirdos ladies on 10/10 about this

Fullmoonfiend · 31/03/2008 20:17

oh just for the fun of seeing my name in triplicate, I adore Little Miss Sunshine too.

BBBee · 31/03/2008 20:18

(hah - guzumped your triplicate!)

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 20:19

Moon diary and hair cuts? How odd.

BBBee · 31/03/2008 20:21

yes that is what i thought - she is a bit of a hippy but even for her was a bit [yikes]

Fullmoonfiend · 31/03/2008 20:25

oh BBBeee

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 20:26

Hey, that's my lunch, FMV

(twas very soggy, I'm afraid)

lionheart · 31/03/2008 20:27

How come no hair cut on certain days?

Fullmoonfiend · 31/03/2008 20:27

Ah well, best thing to do with soggy quinoa IMO...

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 20:31

Yes, and most of mine did end up in the bin. Even DS wouldn't eat it.

I would like to know about hair cuts too. Mine is in dire need of a trim.
