For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I thought there was something familiar about your knee.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/03/2008 23:31

I am not sleepy yet. Combination of having a lie in this morning, falling asleep in the car on the way back home and the hour going forward.

What is 33 like BBBee? I will be that in about 5 months time.

BBBee · 30/03/2008 23:31

yes I wrote nice things but will NEVER share with ANYONE as would cringe.

BBBee · 30/03/2008 23:32

oh idris 33 is eventful!

34 is more reflective and sparkly.

33 is a bit brace yourself but in a good way.

I think 33 will suit you.

Boco · 30/03/2008 23:34

Not sleepy either as still seeing motorway whizzing along - and have jumpy legs from sitting in the car forever.

Tell us and cringe.
Did you mention your chin? You should have had a drop for having a nice chin.

Boco · 30/03/2008 23:35

I'm 33. I'm not sure it's terribly eventful so far. It's more reflective, occasionally baffling, bit of boredom and some occasional panic.

BBBee · 30/03/2008 23:40

no it is really cringy - the bottle was my 'essence' and the drips were all the things that made me and there were things like friend but also really embarrasing things - but I tried really hard to only write it for me so it was quite honest but did make me think I was a bit of a wanky wanker.

I did not mention my chin but I am glad you like it. My dad says I have a chin like a spade and I inherited it from my grest aunt. I don;t mind though - she drank lanson black label and called everytone lovey so that is fine.

BBBee · 30/03/2008 23:41

NO - it is eventful - at the time you think it is boring and then you realise it was eventful and your brain did stuff whilst you weren't looking.

Boco · 30/03/2008 23:43

Yeah maybe. Maybe I'll hit 34 and it'll all come together fully formed.

I like your wanky bottle. It's fine to be a wanky wanker. And a nobby nobber. AS long as you're also 'friend' and 'chin'.

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 00:16

Oh no wombling, you're having an awful time. I hope your dad makes a speedy recovery.

Billy Elliot thingy sounds lovely.

A big YES to individual fairy cakes. And could easily do with whipped cream on top & a strawberry. Or you could stick some icing in a food bag, snip a tiny hole in the corner and use it as a piping bag to write initials on the cakes. Or use melted chocolate in the same way. Easy to do and always looks good. Could you use licorice laces if you are scared of pipng? But you already discussed this, hours ago. Franny, do you need me to get you some maternity sporty gear? It would probably take a week or 2 to get to you. I don't mind looking if it'll help.

Tried to catch up on whole thread but couldn't so have skipped a great chunk. Sorry if i missed anything important.

Am feeling very tearful and sad atm but have resloved to eat well from tomorrow.

zippitippitoes · 31/03/2008 00:20

hi ur

sorry you are sad

Boco · 31/03/2008 00:21

Sorry you're upset UR, are you alright?

UnderRated · 31/03/2008 00:57

Yes, am ok. Sorry for being a misery all the time. I thought you'd all be in bed. No idea why I posted on here.

FrannyandZooey · 31/03/2008 08:33

UR there is always one of us lurking to pat you when you are sad. I hope things improve.

It is very kind of you to offer about the maternity things, and I did think of you, but it is a website I want them from, and by the time they had delivered to you and then you had done the customs forms and everything and sent them to me, it would be a right pain and probably no quicker. But thank you. Do you need anything from over here? Always happy to send things.

There's a duck on next door's roof. It keeps peering over rather comically into the gutter, looking perplexed but not unhappy.
