For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I meant bugger! not bugger?

it was not a question.

TooTicky · 15/03/2008 20:21

The more you look at the word bugger, the odder it looks.

lol BBBee. My DS seems to think I should buy presents. He'll suddenly annouce,"Umm, mummy. I need a present" for no apparent reason.

No idea who Billysitch is

If I could be arsed to go downstairs, I have The Darjeeling Ltd in my mailbox. But I'm sitting here listening to the Archers instead.

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:24

wahey Pink!

no-one on this thread is frumpy or any of the other things
you are all BLOODY GORGEOUS and I have the photos from last year to prove it
(anyone who didn't come to the meet up, I can just SENSE) your beauty

UnderRated · 15/03/2008 20:24

lol at 'bugger?'

eternalstudent · 15/03/2008 20:25

I'm a lurker.... Can I join you? Need some help to stay on the straight n narrow!

Did Davina's DVD thingy today - my attempt to save money by cancelling gym membership. I am in pain.

I also ate a whole load of blueberries and raspberries that I had bought for DD to coax her out of her non-eating patch and a banana and have made an almighty bean hotpot for dinner so reckon I'm prob on about 6 portions. I'm anticipating a fragrant boudoir ce soir.

What do you say? Am I in?

Off to skull a bottle of vino before DH gets in...

UnderRated · 15/03/2008 20:25

Can you sense the greasy hair and chipped nail varnish too, Franny?

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:26

my brackets went odd there sorry

UR is that not the film with the lovely Mr Wilson in? Can we have a "I heart Owen Wilson" thread again please, it has been a while and he has had a very sad time lately and I am sure us hearting him would help

TooTicky · 15/03/2008 20:26

Make it the straight'n'marrow and you're in

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:27

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:28

UR your INNER beauty shines through that
mine is slightly smothered under a stone of cellulite right now but it is still there
oh yes

UnderRated · 15/03/2008 20:28

Yes, I think he is in it. I'm not sure I heart Owen Wilson, but I will confirm either way once I have watched the film.

Welcome eternal.

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:29

I don't think this will be his finest hour
you can't see his face in it if the trailer is anything to go by

BBBee · 15/03/2008 20:29

OMG eternal student - what have you done with the davina dvd - if you hurt now wait until the morning - I tell you now honey you will not even be able to sit down on the toilet settee without wincing.

but yes hello aqnd welcome. eat fruit and be merry and embrace the insanity fun of the 10/10ers.

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:30

how do you get it in your mailbox btw UR?

BBBee · 15/03/2008 20:31

(btw am a bit that we have lurkers!)

BBBee · 15/03/2008 20:31

oh maybe i scared the lurker by being all direct?

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:32

at Bee's naivete
there is a multitude of lurkers out there
offer to give something away for free or sell something for cheap and you will see

BBBee · 15/03/2008 20:36

but aren't they all really bored?

not that we are boring but you do have to be kind of in it to get it. I couldn't bear to be on this thread and not rain my pearls of wisdom on you at every opportunity.

I have just found an old tissue and a battery down the side of the settee. The first lurker who posts can have them for free inc. P&P (some went on ebay for £14.32 the other day)

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:37

ah I lurked
us shy ones do at first

UnderRated · 15/03/2008 20:37

I have a mailbox like this in the lobby. I do an online move rental thing. It's fab and cheap and gives me something other than reading and MN to do when I can't sleep! And is the only way I can watch British things. I don't have cable and TV is really appalling here so the only thing I watch is DVDs. I had Withnail and I last week and it was lovely.

"We have come on holiday by mistake"

Funny how when we were outed as desperate and deranged, no-one new posted. That seems to have been forgotten now

UnderRated · 15/03/2008 20:38

Oh dear - I don't think I lurked. I just barged in

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:39

oh I thought you meant your online mailbox LOL
thought it was some new technology of which I wasn't aware (so nothing new there)

Withnail is so superb
Boco are you going to watch my film?

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:39

barging in is good
all the really funny people just barge in and get going

FrannyandZooey · 15/03/2008 20:40

I remember the first time cod spoke to me LOL
I really do, it was about the Ramones
I was so overcome I had to go and lie down for a bit
