For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh good.

Thank god.

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 21:45

I think you have to have running fresh water for watercress. There is land cress but I don't think it has the same zing.

100x, how are you? Have you been photographed yet?

I am fine, but very tired tonight for some reason.

It was excruciating. [cringe] I asked her if some people actually enjoy having their photograph taken, and she yes, a surprising amount did She kept telling me to walk out the door and in again and then sit down because I was so self-conscious and puddingy.

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 21:50

Good god, it sounds horrific. I shall give up writing now just in case.

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 21:53

Yes it was hateful. And there were masses of photos of me on the contact sheet, and every time I closed my eyes all I could see was me gurning with a centre parting. I made DH chose a shortlist of seven, and everyone voted. Boco got a vote but she was too late

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 21:54

I think photos of oneself always look worse to oneself though. I'm sure they are delightful.

OP posts:
Boco · 13/03/2008 21:56

You didn't look puddingy or self conscious, you looked serene and fresh faced and charming. I don't think i actually committed to a vote, I just made vague and unhelpful comments. Not good at decision making.

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 21:56

Hmm. You are kind. . . .

You need to tell FK whether she can grow watercress TooT. She is waiting and I want to say 'yes' but not sure what to say afterwards.

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 21:59

I did tell her, further down. It's a no without running water.

Why did Boco get to see the pics then?

I am eating a slightly implausible ratatouille, watercress and sweetcorn sandwich.

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:00

She was picked from a hat TooT.

Boco · 13/03/2008 22:01

Yes please? Yes thank you? Yes why certainly?

I went to the dr today with dd and I showed him my rash and told him about dds strange allergic swellings and we've both got referrals to see a dermatologist at the hospital. Can't do Wizarding anymore as it's not working.

DD is now swelling when she has ribena, certain biscuits, anything with citric acid in. Is quite alarming.

I don't understand the Yeses and the question marks and things. I am tired though, and possibly overwhelmed.

Oh no to the swelling. That's awful. Can they see you both soon?

Boco · 13/03/2008 22:04

I was just trying to work out what would come after the yeses that you wanted to give to FK, but I don't know about watercress either.

I'm tired too.

I called the hospital and they were set to fit us both in quickly, but dr had made a mistake and referred her to the wrong place, so have to speak to him again tomorrow and get him to re-do it before I can get an appointment.

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:04

Oh BELIEVE ME TooT, you don't want to do the green face. I realized that all voters actually had been placed in a perilous and difficult situation. They had to say 'that ones nice?' and then say 'but so is the other one, and actually you look fine in all of them'. A diplomatic minefield.

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 22:05

Oh Boco Wish I could post you a decent wizard. Did you see my sort of explanation for why it might have stopped working? A few days ago I think. Can re-type if you didn't see it.

OP posts:
Boco · 13/03/2008 22:05

What are you overwhelmed by 100?

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:05

Oh it would be 'Yes. This is how to do it, you take a seed and plant it in a watery place and and'

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 22:05

I could've handled it

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:06

Everything Bocs. Particularly the contact sheet. LOL.

Oh no, I'm being stupid, I'm tired mostly.

TooTicky · 13/03/2008 22:07

New experiences are tiring 100x. Everything will be fine. More than fine

OP posts:
Boco · 13/03/2008 22:07

Toot yes I did. Thing is, she didn't get me to keep taking the same remedy, she gave me about 23 different ones. It started out amazing and was converted because had almost 2 months with no rash, but as soon as it came back she gave me a new remedy every couple of days, she'd forget what she'd given me - I had to keep walking miles to her clinic, usually at night to get them - and nothing has made any difference since the initial success. Wish I had seen your Wizard, he sounded a winner with his single dose thing. I canceled appointment with my one this week as it's not worth it.

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:07

Let's have some TooT news.

How is everyone? You asked a nice question about ds2 ages ago, and I never replied. But I remembered it - yes he is 8, which is better than 7 actually, but he was a PITA the other night.

ahundredtimes · 13/03/2008 22:08

Oh sorry, x posted.

pinkspottywellies · 13/03/2008 22:09

FK I think I can do the cow one (haven't done for a while - just looked up on google image!) I do Barbara Currie DVDs. There is one with 7 10 min sections. I used to do 10 mins every morning. The one I've got now is called Power Packed Yoga and it's got 4 half hour sections.

I heard about the land cress recently. Water cress is yum though.

Can we see the photos 100x? Pleeeeease?
