For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

yes - happy mothers day day to all my favourite mothers.

an orange.

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 08:55

oh toot - capers are lovely - really lovely - a very strong distinctive taste can greast to throw in salads, pizza, pasta etc. very nice indeed.

demand some for mothers day - say it is an old contiental tradition you wish to take up in your house.

ladywombling · 02/03/2008 09:01

Happy Mothers day vegger mums! Hope all are well, an d have been spoilt a little this am.

Have had dates, raisins, dried pineapple and sunflower seeds (don't think they count tho!)

Have had cards & books, chocs and tea in bed from dp/dc's. Now off to face them and start my work for the day.

Well don e TooT's DD1 btw. Think I forgot to say before.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2008 09:01

i hate capers. And olives. Not keen on garlic. Had better not become italian prostitute i think.

oh I had raisins

you would be a good italian prostitute - you would earn loads being all blonde and mysterious. I shall cross you off my list for the brothel in florence.

That is inappropiate isn't it. Wombling you can come though - you are starred as another asset.

ladywombling · 02/03/2008 09:14

Bbee, I am confused.

Have just hjad surreal (joke) conversation with DH, about Tilda's Swinton's alleged menage a trois, said he would be quite happy for me to have a toyboy live with us,m so long as he helped with the children/did the night wakings, and if he had a choice, a male nanny would be good!

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 09:14

i am quite excited about the raven thing - how exciting, but also a bit scary - that bloke is scary and those skeletons and things too. I think she is very brave.

lullabyloo · 02/03/2008 09:15

you all make me giggle

I love capers,olives & garlic very much
I would make a most excellent prostitute...& I adore Italy..so count me in Bee

I have had lovely flowers & cards...but no breakfast in bed much to ds's dismay

Off out soon
Have a lovely day everone

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 09:16

ye4s womble - 'tis confusing and inappropiate.

I don;t get the joke either - is he missing male company?

lullabyloo · 02/03/2008 09:16

wombling.......oooooooooooooooh

TigerFeet · 02/03/2008 09:26

MOrning veggers

DH left for work @ 6.30 so no lie in or breakfast in bed for yours truly

I know he has taken dd shopping though as I was instructed yesterday that under no circumstances was I to look in the boot of his car

Vegging going really, really badly atm

VV exciting about the Raven thing

Olives make me heave. Not good if one is to be a prostitute I think.

ladywombling · 02/03/2008 09:27

No Bbeee, not missing male company, more that if I had to have a second sexual partner live with us, if he was a nanny, it would be better, as he would know how to look after the dc's!!!!

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 09:28

tiger feet!

I have some great boots - they remind me of you. will be back with pic...

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 09:30

womble - maybe he is thinking that if you are going to move a lover in best that he is a nanny as he can help out round the house.

I asked dp what he would require if I moved a lover in and he said 'that they are gay'

ladywombling · 02/03/2008 09:31

Aaah, BBeee - , ditto Lully , I would make a great lady of the night, and do love Italy!

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2008 09:31

ladywombling · 02/03/2008 09:33

Lovely shoes Franny, do you lknow DH's nickname is G'ola

TooTicky · 02/03/2008 09:35

Those shoes look like fun Franny.

I have had two handmade cards from ds2 and some rather scrummy truffled walnuts and a handmade card from dd1.

Wombling, did you get my thank you for the trousers email? My emails keep going awol atm.

Bbbee · 02/03/2008 09:35

thank god franny - does that mean I don;t have to google shoes anymore?

TigerFeet · 02/03/2008 09:36

Love the shoes, and the site is great... the ones I like are £66 though

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2008 09:36

about toyboys, dp says "oh i don't mind"

then says "you know that fairy at the party yesterday"

(he went to a children's party yesterday which was presided over by a pretty young lady with VERY blonde hair, a fairy outfit and sparkly high heels. He and my friend watched her do her stuff, then concluded she was charging 100% more than I do for the same show - but I reckon the heels and hair are worth a fair bit)

anyway polygamy is an interesting discussion to be having on a Sunday morning.

Dd1 will find out if she will be on Raven by the end of March. It's the blooming suspense thing all over again, but hopefully not as bad as last time.

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2008 09:37

Bee those shoes are just the stand in shoes until I find the sparkly turquoise ones

they were such a good price and so beautiful I had to have them (well I had to persuade dp he wanted to buy them for me, for mothers day )

FrannyandZooey · 02/03/2008 09:38
