For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Veggie bolognaise for supper and time to switch my brain off

filthymindedvixen · 29/02/2008 19:09

Pah. just discovered a small box of thorntons in the cupboard under the stairs. Guess what I'm getting for mother's day?
I don't want to sound ungrateful but how many times do I have to say I don't actually like chocs that much and they only get eaten by the boys and dh anyway and I really wanted flowers. i never get flowewrs....and I had dropped huge hints to ds about buying me a flower arch from woolies for my allotment(3.47 - bargain!)

TooTicky · 29/02/2008 22:24

Ah sorry Fmv

Lully, the computer insists it can't remember your email address. And I can't either. Mine is [email protected]

We have an early start tomorrow - possibly catching train at 8.08

TooTicky · 29/02/2008 22:27

Lully, I think I may have found it

Bbbee · 01/03/2008 07:50

sorry for not catchin up propoerly adn just bursting in and shouting. It is just overwhelming.

I have just finished watching boco's film together. It is very good - it is happy and sad at the same time and that is hard to do but real.

How is everyone? filth - joke about the chocolates then be gracious and then go and buy yourself a bunch of flowers and a bottle of wine. I did that when I got some marks back as I knew no one else would and it was amazingly satisfying!

I would also like to extended a belated marriage proposal to you all.

I feel lousy, the wind was so terrible last night that the windows rattled & banged constantly.

No mail Toot...I shall mail you in a mo

MrsCarrot · 01/03/2008 09:11

I had to go out in my knickers in the howling rain to ram next door's gate shut with a chair. It is seriously annoying, just below my window whereas they sleep at the front. If I was feeling mean I would have held it open with the gate rather than closed but last time they thought there had been a burglar so I resisted.

Blueberries, raspberries from Peru from the garden, apple, pear, kiwi and grape with yoghurt and crispy stuff and a flagon of tea. I am tired today.

Can we not choose a title from our extensive back catalogue? There have been quite a few good ones, or have we forgotten them all

lullabyloo · 01/03/2008 09:12

just your knickers Mrs C?

Lulumama · 01/03/2008 09:14

I have just hoovered a vast number of crispy ones

Boco · 01/03/2008 09:32

Lol Carrot, you could have done a quick forward roll on the way back.

Bee I'm glad you liked the film! And I like it when you crash in and shout 'TALK TO ME!' OR 'TELL ME THINGS!'. I imagine you in rolled up shirt sleeves fresh in from busy life.

Lully sorry you're feeling yuk. Good news about hair though.

lullabyloo · 01/03/2008 09:35

Ah..I'm ok
Did you decide on a dress?

MrsCarrot · 01/03/2008 09:37

I catch them in a glass and throw them out of the window with stern instructions to fly away home but threats of fire and missing children doesn't seem to deter them.

filthymindedvixen · 01/03/2008 09:38

oh yes bococ tell about dresses! (I loved that monsoon one FWIW but perhaps it is a bit limiting in terms of future wearing opportunities. Can't quite see anyone trawling round a suprmarket in it...

Lulumama · 01/03/2008 09:39

good news about your hair, will be ok for a lovely elfin cut soon, i hope

all well here am glad to say x

If so...I have something for you

Boco · 01/03/2008 09:45

I'm not near anything really - but will go and try things on in Norwich and there's a Monsoon there - the weekend after next is my plan!

I'm down to 2-3 favourites [decisive]
