For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

we have monsters in our loo, real puppies

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2008 14:40

Hello. Hello.

Have eaten copious amounts of all sorts of things, including braised lettuce and roasted vine toms for lunch.

This weekend I made a tudor house. DS1 was supposed to be making it, but he was annoying about it and it seemed didn't really care how the beams were distributed and attached. It's bloody marvellous, I'd better get a head teacher award for it.

lullabyloo · 03/02/2008 14:41

oooooooh how splendid
picture please

lullabyloo · 03/02/2008 14:42

of the tudor house that is...not the monster turds

fullmoonfiend · 03/02/2008 14:42

I'm sincrely hoping you want pix of 100s tudor creation rather than my sons' turds...

How is Johnny Jet doing 100?

fullmoonfiend · 03/02/2008 14:43

lol x-post!

FrannyandZooey · 03/02/2008 14:44

Greeny that really IS filthy. What a dirty mind you must have. Would anyone else here have ever thought of such a smutty thing to do with our nice wholesome title?

as for my digestion it has always been quite efficient thank YOU. I read somewhere about food in the average Western person taking 72 hours or something from one end to the other - this is really frightening, isn't it?

Lully someone who can sit and smile benignly is a GREAT GIFT you know. Other people have to make do with photos of the Dalai Lama

Y'see, its not only ME with my mind in the gutter

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2008 14:52

Johnny Jet is splendid. But my he is sleepy. DH thinks he's depressed, he thinks he's writing a screenplay behind the sofa and it's getting him down.

We are all devoted. He is much more sparky when the children are here, and they all jump on beanbags and roll on the floor. He lets dd stoke his ears and then he nods at her and sighs. DS2 and he crawl about together and ds1 and Johnny play ball and jump about. It's rather nice. He gets up on the sofa in the kitchen and chews my sleeve and then curls up next to me and falls asleep.

Tomorrow is his second set of jabs, and then thank god the house arrest is over and we can go out. The other day we went out into the front garden and stuck our noses out of the bush and smelt the air and saw a car go past, and it was all so exciting he rushed inside and had a fight with a flower pot.

Thank you for asking.

FrannyandZooey · 03/02/2008 14:52

oh no MrsC did anyone read that book called How I Paid for College? it was very funny and the main characters kept stealing and dressing up this Buddha in someone's garden

lully, johnny is 100's puppy. One minute is was all ''tell me how difficult it will be having a dog'' the next JJ appreared. And we have all become obsessed with his progress.
Poor 100 is left there waving frantically on the end of his leash crying ''what about meeee'' in vain..

FrannyandZooey · 03/02/2008 14:54

Oh anorak, what can you eat?

see ANORAK loves the title because her heart and mind (and bowels) are pure
