For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Greeny when do you have to leave on the Sunday? can you stay around and meet Avi? She is only flying over in the hopes of seeing you, I think

(avi if she will be gone when you get there, do you think we could leave it till the Mon morning as you mentioned? the thought of one set of visitors leaving and another set arriving is making me quite tbh. I am not brilliant at this sort of thing anyway )

yes of course
I wouldn't make up such self-serving crap and attribute it to the Sunday Telegraph

Phew, thanks Pink!
Mind you, I think I can handle being sat on occasionally if it means I get missed. And Franny's feathers are lovely and soft

Pink, I haven't been avoiding, just busy really. I also have to fight my way through hordes of children to get to the computer. Plus dp uses it a lot for work.

Idris it is lovely, I enjoyed it so much. Fabulous to enter into another terribly convincing and well-drawn world rather than the Marlows' world

TooTicky · 09/02/2008 21:19

FrannyandZooey · 09/02/2008 21:19

thank you Avi
if Greeny is still here we would be delighted to see you as well, the more the merrier [said slightly nervously]

Avi I was in London with Greeny, and HC rang me and said "shit you are in the Sunday Telegraph in an article about MN" and I had to go flying out in the pissing rain to get a copy, to discover I was only mentioned in context of them being pseudy about literary names

it was not long after the SWMNBN thing first blew up so I was shitting myself tbh
