For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Where have you all gone?

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:21

It's still infusing, fear not. I am an optimist about most things.

Tell me more about dd's shoes.

Sorry about the furious though. That's hard work - is he kicking cardboard boxes as suggested?

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:21

That was quite random wasn't it, I just had to share it as it's been making me smile.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:22

Oh Boco, that is delightful!

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:22

No, he is kicking ds2
And me

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:23

Oh that is SUCH good news Boco. God, it makes such a difference doesn't it? DS1 has fallen in with very group and they are all sleeping over at each other's houses and one of them is especially nice. And so is his mother.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:24

Dd1's shoes

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:24

You were going to pull him out TooT. Are you going to? It might improve things do you think?

[considers previous teenage position. Grown up quickly]

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:25

OMG. They are blue suede shoes. She's great.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:26

This tea is weird. It's a mixture of minty and fusty.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:27

I dunno. Recently, he has been enjoying certain aspects of school. It is the principle of school that he dislikes. But he is now in hockey club and his team won.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:27

I had a book about anger once. I can't remember what it was called, it had things you had to fill in. Me and ds2 did it, it was all about being responsible for your anger and the things that make you angry. It gave us both a headache.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:28

wow, those are some shoes, good colour!

Toot - shall I be MsCreant just for you? Miscreant was gone although I checked and there are no posts so I don't think anyone will mind.
I like the idea of promising wickedness.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:28

I like weird tea. I drink more weird tea than anything else.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:29

Well you must tell him to play hockey HARD and AGGRESSIVELY and to THWACK the ball as HARD as he can, and to stop kicking YOU.

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:29

Hey 100 should have some shoes like that for when she's doing her stylised dancing.

Sorry ds is kicking Toot, that's not good.

It does make a big difference - this boy. He's the sort of boy who is quite quiet and thoughtful with a big smile, he's lovely. She just beams when she's talking about him, and if i tease her she doesn't care, she beams more. They're both so excited about their day together, they're going to build things out of mud.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:29

Goodness, don't change for me. MissC.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:29

I had morrocan mint today instaed of the usual peppermint and it was delicious, much less bitter.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:30

Boco, I hope it lasts and lasts

I don't mind ds1 kicking me so much - well I do, but I really just want him to stop being horrid to ds2. Who adores him.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:32

yes, boco, she deserves to have a good friend at last. DD wants to marry the son of her teacher in year 2 and her love is unrequited but she is undeterred.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:37

[detoxed]

Amazing tea this.

I am off to bed. Night all.

lullabyloo · 06/02/2008 22:38

you lot are making me giggle
I've eaten far too much chocolate & am grumpily beating everyone at scrabble

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:40

Lully, what was that bizarre sounding chocolatey thing you mentioned earlier?

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:43

Goodnight 100.

MrsC i'm drinking your tea, it's nice - i'm being refreshed.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:43

night, 100.

Yes, Lully, that sounded delicious.
