For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I don't think she was a troll, it would have been better if she was.

When is JJ having a walk?

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:59

Saturday.

Thank god for that.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:01

Night, Franny.

What a strange name, Boco, she sounds quite sharp.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:02

Where will you go, 100?

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:03

She'll go to the milk bar to hang with her girls and wolf whistle at the boys and start fights.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:05

will she click her fingers like a true punk?

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:06

Yup, I'm doing what Boco says and wearing bobby socks too, with winkle-pickers and erm, national health specs.

We will walk up the road and go to the park I should think. He's only little, but now he's bored of the front garden too, and me, and just about everything.

He keeps making dashes up the stairs. He's not supposed to go up there. But I feel a bit sorry for him and pretend I haven't seen him, and then dh appears and says 'He was upstairs' and I pretend to look all shocked.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:07

Who is still here?

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:08

sounds like me and ds2. He is always making a dash for the stairs, outdoors, the table, ds1's cabin bed etc. I even had to worm him yesterday.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:09

Hello, Toot!

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:09

Oh hello MrsC. Your name is slightly unnerving now.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:09

[curls lip] Who's askin?

I am being a teenager from 1952 TooT. We are hoping that your dh will be able to do letters on the back of my jacket.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:11

Sparkly vinyl?

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:12

The computer keeps underlining things in red in a very sceptical way. So far, it objects to MrsC, sparkly and sceptical.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:13

ooh yes! Can I?

I am about to make a Detox tea. I bought it by mistake, I thought it was Fennel tea. It has all sorts of things in it like galangal root and artichoke leaves and bearberry leaves. I've never heard of any of these - except artichokes.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:13

unnerving in a good way?

Can your dp punk up 100's jacket, Toot?

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:14

I'm getting a lot of work for MrToot these days, I'm like his agent. It was fillyjonk btw Toot, who was asking on a thread about those t-shirts.

I've got some friends coming for lunch tomorrow who have not been for lunch before, and I went for coffee with one today and her house was so tidy and clean and nice, and I'm looking about and wondering where to start because I don't want to put her off so soon. And I did something strange and told her about mumsnet - she's be such a good mumsnetter she's funny and clever. I wonder if she's here now. [shifty]

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:14

Oh. No. Eugh. It has bits in - or has the teabag broken do you think?

Who knows.

How are things TooT? How is dd1 and everyone else?

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 22:14

I have galangal leaves for thai cooking, they are like lemongrass.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:15

I think it depends on what the jacket is made of.

Unnerving...well, because all of a sudden you're pretending you're not married and promising wickedness.
Mind you, you were nearly somebody else in London. Did I tell you?

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:16

galangal is the noise you would make if you were being throttled.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 22:17

lol. Yes. MrsC your highly stylized dance made me rofl.

It doesn't taste of anything.

Bearberry is when you can't say blueberry properly.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:17

Dd1 has bought herself mad shoes.
Ds1 is alternately furious and loving.
Ds2 wanted to write "Tescos" on his bottom in green gel pen this evening. We don't even shop there fgs!!
And dd2 is mothering everything, including a blue ride-on car.

TooTicky · 06/02/2008 22:18

You didn't let it infuse for long enough.

Boco · 06/02/2008 22:21

Oh I'm so pleased for my dd1 - she's made friends with a new boy in her class and they've decided to get married and dd says he is the best friend she's ever had, and he's invited her for lunch and spent days planning the menu. She's so happy to go to school at the moment and they just beam at each other - it's very funny and sweet. And I met his mother and approve.
