Dedicated Swallower of Passion (Fruit) - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh and wearing knickers

i am

i have to save myself now for the weekend

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:23

Now you see that last post - well, the one before the knickers - shows EXACTLY why you shouldn't go away.

You are needed.

You are a wise old bird.

A wise old bird in knickers.

It's funny how some weeks you feel sick of mnet and the arguments and the time spent and the skull fuzz and then, just as one is determined to break free, loads of your friends are funny and nice and this inspires wit from exhausted coffers and so it goes on.

Boco · 06/02/2008 21:33

I don't think I've seen an argument on here for a while - although someone recently made me very cross, and i rarely get actually cross on mn - it surprised me a bit. I like the sound of your knickers MrsC.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 21:39

They are quite good fun. Life is too short for stuffy knickers I think.

That person made me angry too, boco. She didn't come back though I doubt tht was due to any change of thought on her part. She will always feel smug that's the enraging thing.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:40

Who?

There was a fight and I missed it?

And I'm hanging out on street corners in a denim jacket shouting about knickers and trying to duff up passing HEers AND EVERYTHING. Pah.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:42

LOL at me clearly being a teenager from circa 1952. With a quiff.

Boco · 06/02/2008 21:43

She was enraging. She hardly said anything actually, i even searched her because she annoyed me so much, and she'd only ever posted about ten times - but annoyed me across 2 different threads!

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:43

god all my knickers are dull atm
this is wrong
last time i was pg I had some shiny black boy shorts with silver stars on
dp lived in fear of me I think

oh, some fool woman who thought all those who'd had dificult births should just get on with it, it's what our bodies are designed for and anyway they should try being single parents, or something. The she called Custardo and 2shoes, cuntardo and 2shites. This didn't go down very well. I assume thats who boco means otherwise i am being very presumptious.

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:44

sorry I don't know what you are talking about so I am talking about pants

I just wanted to feel included

100 as a baddie you would have your name in sparkly letters on the back of your coat wouldn't you. MrToots could fix it for you.

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:44

foxinsocks · 06/02/2008 21:46

she's gone mad and joined the cast of West Side Story

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 21:47

she posted shortly after you on fillyjonk's thread, Franny.

Boco · 06/02/2008 21:47

Franny your knickers sound truly shocking - a bit alvin stardust no?

Yes MrsC, that was it - it was the fact that anyone with a difficult birth was just putting a negative spin on it and should shut up and get on with it. And then a couple of people posted that their babies had nearly died and it was more than just spin, and she called them.. bad names.

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:49

oh dear
I don't think I went back on that thread

no Boco they were small subtle silvery stars
they were fab

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 21:49

yes, she did, and custardo changed her name to that I believe.

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:51

a friend of mine at Uni had "Child of Night" in studs on the back of his leather jacket

one night when he was pissed some people (not me) changed it to say "Child of Shite"

he didn't notice for AGES

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:52

I am going to be her new best friend.

[turns up collar]

She can be a Jet. Because once you're a jet, you are always a jet from your first cigarette to your last bad birth experience.

Johnny Jet. Oh he is so nice you know. He is nuzzly and has silly ears and big flumpy paws.

MissCreant · 06/02/2008 21:53

One of the few times I have feared for my life was during West Side Story. I choked for a long time on a very large barley sugar and our English teacher, Mrs Cheeseman, smacked me on the back and it flew several aisles in front but no-one seemed to notice.

ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:55

LOL at Child of Night.

Was she a troll then? It is a stoopid thing to say. Though I once said to someone in quite an Anne like way, best foot forward. I had two awful births, and SCBU and the whole works, and I suppose that's what I said to myself.

[considers Anne as a teenager or birthing person]

Not good.

FrannyandZooey · 06/02/2008 21:56

night night, I am knackered xx

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 06/02/2008 21:56

lol at barley sugar too.

You are all very funny.

i am slightly delirious.

I want to take a walk in the night with MrsC around her garden.

Boco · 06/02/2008 21:57

Oh MrsC me too! Well I didnt fear for my life - but a thread recently on girls you hated at school reminded me - Coralie Line, during a production of West side story - one of us was a jet and one was a shark and in the rumble scene she was really going for me with her sharp nails.

I saw Fox, hello!
