She is over the moon too,she was quietly worried,we all told her it was fine, but on the day of the surgery she got scared as it was obvious it could be a problem.
The consultant was lovely, had two calls from the hospital, the breast nurse, and the paediatric nurse today. Now they are saying how awful it must have been for me....

Great News

I have been following this with sympathy (DD had a biopsy a few weeks ago), so glad it all turned out OK

anorak · 19/02/2008 17:36

Hooray! That's the best news I've heard all day.

lucyellensmum · 19/02/2008 17:43

Oh Shib, i am so relieved for you - i have lurked on this thread since i saw your first post, i couldnt respond before because i had no words - i am just so happy for you and your DD. She sounds like a very brave young lady, you should be proud of her x x x

Shiboriamplehips · 19/02/2008 17:51

I AM very proud, shes such a hypochondriac until it really matters, moans like hell over colds etc,but she had her appendix out last year, and now THIS,and she dealt with it all with quiet dignity, only wept when she was on the pre op table and they put the Canula in.
Shes a strong girl.

To my shame, I have advoided this thread because the other outcome was just too dreadful to contemplate. Delighted to see it was good news.
