Yes, it was me!! Dd's nearly 26 months. How old's yours?

Ooh, and CONGRATULATIONS on 1000 fags not smoked!! I gave up on my counter after my little slip a few weeks ago. I guess I'm on about 450 not smoked now.

my dd will be 4 in February. But what I meant to ask is how is your dd's cough? hope she's feeling better.

Gosh, sorry, I don't know how I read an 'old' in your sentence that's so clearly not there! I hallucinated it through a haze of imaginary cigarette smoke ... sigh ...

She's still coughing. It IS better than it was but she's still having a couple of bad coughing fits in the night, she's barely eating still and seems rather run down in general. I do think we're turning the corner, it's just very slow.

BM, dh sent off the oil this morning so with any luck you'll receive it tomorrow a.m. Don't worry about the money - i didn't intend for you to pay for it when i said i'd make one for her...just worried about her cough is all! if you end up liking it, i make all sorts for any problems (physical, mental and emotional) so if you fancy buying any later on, just let me know!

fg - i miss my parents so much, but esp when i think about how dh and i used to have a night alone whilst ds1 stayed with them! before they left we left both the boys with them for 2 nights and waltzed off to a posh country hotel in Ro & Marcus fashion (but more fun!) and now they have DESERTED US!!!!

Awww Mink, But think, when you take the boys over to them, not only will you have free babysitting but youll be in Thailand.....surely better scenery than here in the UK?

Welcome flump - me too, can whizz up from zero to 20 a day in a blink. Am 5 weeks off now I think. If you don't get on well with patches (made my skin itchy and bumpy and sore, also felt weird) maybe try lozenges? Bit like a sweet but, er, not as nice??

poor mm, must be horrible them being so far away -you gonna brave a trip over to thaliand with the boys sometime?? Or would that be a bridge too far with two wee ones?

sorry, forgot to add that i've actually braved a trip already with ds1 just before he turned 1yr and we went during november which is fairly comfortable (25C ish) but with his eczema it was a nightmare! plus he decided not to eat anything but biscuits for 2 weeks. we're thinking of doing it again next nov. when ds2 will be much older as the 13hr flight is the hardest bit!!!

plus my mum's house will be ready and comfy by then...
