For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Send them FK, especially if it will help keep you sane.

HowTheGibbonStoleChristmas · 20/12/2007 18:46

now either I've been drugged or greeny was here and Franny willingly accepted and scoffed nestle [hard stare]

and I have not eaten any suspect looking cookies or cakes today

yulemoonfiend · 20/12/2007 19:02

Fecking load of slackers...!
I have had salad sarnie, melon and a zillion lychees. Am now going to have lotsof red wine to celebrate feeling a bit better. And some homemade cream truffles.....

FrayedKnot · 20/12/2007 19:08

I've never had spirulina

TooT will cry if she sees me admitting I drink Baileys as well as eat brandy butter at Christmas

womblingalong · 20/12/2007 19:33

OMG Franny - Nestle! I know your pregnant need is great, but I never would have thought it !

How are you all, lovely veggers?

Hello greeny.

Glad to see you are feeling better FMV.

Personally hate raw celery, but will happily cook with it.

FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:02

I might have hoped this would provoke you all but I think we must be feeling weak from lack of vit C

TooTickyDoves · 20/12/2007 22:13

Chatterboxes! Do you lot have nothing else to do? Do you not realise it is Christmas on Tuesday? WHY are you not scurrying around and panicking?

FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:13

yes and then you go and screech on your fiddle about dead dogs or something, and all is well in your little strange world again

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:14

OP posts:
SantaGotStuckUpTheGreensleeve · 20/12/2007 22:15

I NEVER screech

Don't you need to go dress up as a tree and frighten some children, or something?

FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:18

no not till tomorrow

OP posts:
TooTickyDoves · 20/12/2007 22:22

Don't you still have things to WORRY about?

FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:24

yes a bit

it seems to be going alright so far

I am slightly worried we are going to catch something from 2 lots of friends we are seeing on Saturday

they have both been ill off and on for months and it would be just the right timescale to wake up on Christmas day with something

TooTickyDoves · 20/12/2007 22:26

We ordered 2 important items, one for each boy, about a week ago. This afternoon, they deign to tell us they are out of stock!

FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:26

oh that is dreadful

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 20/12/2007 22:28

I have done all the present shopping so I am not worried about that

I am slightly worried about my credit card bill

I probably should be worried about the children's party I am holding tomorrow but the one on Wednesday went so well (IMO) that I am feeling ok about it

I think I may have reached that nice complacent stage of pg where I don't give much of a shit as long as I get to sit down and eat pies at regular intervals

OP posts:
TooTickyDoves · 20/12/2007 22:29

I have phoned toy shops in 3 towns and one city and NONE of them stock them!
