For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I know we said we'd leave it, but if it is they, I will not think you are an arse, (I have to say, I don't really know him, but used to have their youngest at preschool and A is such a gorgeous person. I heart her.

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:40

ahundredtimes · 30/12/2007 19:41

Actually, other friend also has dc at SAME primary school. . .

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:44

how funny. And now I must not say anything to her about anything.

Her youngest was one of the most endearing children at preschool.

I do not watch soaps so I didn't know who he was for ages.
And then I got all shy in case she thought I only talked to her because of him IFKWIM.

lullabyloo · 30/12/2007 19:44

Yes well all that stuff is tricky all round I think fMf. I wouldn't worry, she is salt of the earth stuff.

Let's not say anything. Is safer that way! I don't want to be outed!

lullabyloo · 30/12/2007 19:48

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:48

I'd have to get all my threads deleted and name change and everything!

So sorry everyone else.

TooTicky · 30/12/2007 19:49

I'm off to bed - well, that is the plan - I am strangely exhausted after today's exertions.

FrayedKnot · 30/12/2007 21:02

Oh, and I am starting my own personal bootcamp tomorrow.

Mostly consisting of carrots, appleas, pears, and erm, carrots, apples & pears, glancing at the inside of my fridge.
