For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I like the Spa place though. I like it. I don't want to live in a charming village. Not AT ALL.

Pleased you had a good day TooT.

TooTicky · 30/12/2007 18:27

I do envy you the health food shop with the filled rolls and vegan cake. And the proximity to a train station. That's about all though. And I would hate to have a bus station full of drunks.

ahundredtimes · 30/12/2007 18:32

Yes the vegan cake sold me the place too TooT.

Oh yes you might do FMF, trying to think how to give discreet clues.

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:03

children's school location??

FrannyandZooey · 30/12/2007 19:03

You could come here instead, we are Roman also but no spa.

I am going to have pizza with pineapple on. I really like cheese and pineapple together and if I stick enough of it on, it will count as A Portion. Won't it.

Erm the primary school off the Chase, next to a church I think, quite central, and others at Harrogate Grammar.

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:09

Ah, they live on the (estate-agent speak) much favoured South side then...

Actually, I don't want to speculate. What if I do know them and they think I'm an arse?

ahundredtimes · 30/12/2007 19:10

Or vice versa? And then you'll think I'm an arse.

Let's leave it!

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:13

Well I wouldn't judge a person by their friends. Well, not much.

(I'm friendly to everyone. Which some people find annoying )

ahundredtimes · 30/12/2007 19:14

Hmm. One set of friends are tv people so you might judge me on that I think. [nervous]

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 30/12/2007 19:31

TooTicky · 30/12/2007 19:32

Being friendly to everyone got me into trouble once. Nasty girl at school once said to me, "The trouble with you is that you're nice to everybody!"

DingDongMerriLullyOnHigh · 30/12/2007 19:32

hello lovelies

FrannyandZooey · 30/12/2007 19:33

TooTicky · 30/12/2007 19:36

There is a television person in our village, y'know. I've not spoken to him though.

fullmoonfiend · 30/12/2007 19:36

Is he called M?

If it is he, I adore his wife.
