For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Avi, have played 3 words.

TooTickyDoves · 24/12/2007 15:38

Lionheart, long time no see

lionheart · 24/12/2007 15:39

*For the record, mine is not Paxo but the overpriced posh stuff.

lionheart · 24/12/2007 15:40

Hey-ho TooT, I have missed the 10/10ers a lot.

Have been working and staying away from the temptations of MN (mostly).

TooTickyDoves · 24/12/2007 15:42

How do you manage? This is what keeps me sane!

It's horrid really but because work involves a computer it is just too, too easy to get sucked in.

I have been allowing myself a peek from time to time, but that's it.

TooTickyDoves · 24/12/2007 15:54

I do have a reputation to salvage, y'know.

Avi I'm making it because the people we're having lunch with told me to! When I said "can we bring anything?" they said "yes" and handed me the recipe cut out from the Guardian

I have cooked it but not tasted it. I must admit all the different smells did seem promising - prunes, the fried onions and celery, the herbs and the lemon. Mine is all poncy organic too avi - except the chestnuts which were Merchant Gourmet, from a tin

I am eating a sugar mouse

The stocking is stuffed

I think dsis is waiting for me to prep some veg and I suspect it will be sprouts that are left by the time I get into the kitchen

WE went to a panto and the fairy looked like Boco

Boco I hope you & DD feel better tomorrow, and you have a nice relaxed day.

FrayedKnot · 24/12/2007 21:19

Oops, I abbreviated

I have not drunk any Baileys

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 22:21

we had aubergine tagliatelle with mozzarella and parmesan for dinner (dp's speciality)

bloody nice

then we went to look at all the mad Christmas lights (I took photos for you FK, will post!)

ds asleep "my eyes are ready to close now mummy you can go downstairs"

oh first he sang 'twinkle twinkle' "to soothe the baby in your tummy". my god it was lovely

Don't start on things likely to make stern 10/10ers sob, F&Z.

I can;t wait to see the pics

I have pared a billion sprouts. How on earth did the sprout ever get discovered as a viable foodstuff?

BBBee · 24/12/2007 22:58

just whizzing on to wish all my beautiful 10/10ers a wonderful day tomorrow.

Love to you all you shining beauties!

Merry Christmas Lovely Veggers!

I hope everyone has had a great day.

DS was up at 8 as well so it felt very civilized. He was downstairs squeaking and bouncing before DH & I had managed to stumble out of bed.

I have definitely eaten far too many sprouts
