For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Quire is a nice word Avi

Gizmo he was thinking about me in Guam, I believe

(do you know I think I may possibly have watched that video a couple of times too many. Because the thing is I know the nifty sidestep to which you are referring - indeed I can picture his manly knees executing it as I type this)

Zippi - are those planets like revels? I love revels, the orange one.

pinkspottywellies · 03/12/2007 20:40

MrsC do you want to play Scrabble?

pinkspottywellies · 03/12/2007 20:42

Mars Planets have balls of nougat, caramel and biscuit. They are yummy but I'm not sure where the biscuit comes from - not Mars Bars

Franny what's with Dancing Matt. I've seen the video. I've read About Matt. I'm baffled. Do you know him in rl? How? Why does he dance (and so oddly)?

I am stuck Avi and looking at it for ten minutes doesn't help. I have looked at it upside down and that didn't help either. I will go tomorrow.

TooT I was hoping to curry favour with her in hope she might go easy on me

PSW no he is just a man whose video I like. I stalk him by email from time to time. He dances because he is Dancing Matt.

How can MrsC like crying chocolate and orange revels? It doesn't seem right.

Can we have another meet up this week? I am missing you all

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 03/12/2007 20:57

The fact that I like crying chocolate and orange revels perfectly illustrates the extremes to which I live my life.

For lunch I had a miso, vegetable and shitake soup with acerola smoothie. For supper I am having a fishfinger sandwich and a glass of wine.

I am semi-lentil.

MrsCarrot · 03/12/2007 20:59

PSW - I will refrain from scrabble, thank you, but you are very thoughtful. I love it, but I donn't want to play it online.

pinkspottywellies · 03/12/2007 21:01

Shall I commute to your house to play scrabble MrsC? Although it might take a jolly long time

MrsCarrot · 03/12/2007 21:04

yes, please, I have some wine. You could bring the revels and I will send you home with some superior chocolate.

DH is taking a long time to make. I am starving.

IdrisYouaMerryChristmas · 03/12/2007 21:21

Hello .

Psw would you like to play another game of scrabble with me?

And psychobabble would you like to?

My email address is idristhedragon31 at gmail dot com

I have eaten some F&V today I think.

I am not sure I have posted for a few days - our internet played up all yesterday and I was a nervous wreck by the end of it .

fullmoonfiend · 03/12/2007 21:27

I'm sorry all of those who invited me to play. It will not let me add aword. I've just got loading spinning round aimlessly...

Am off to bed to read actual real words

I too would like to play scrabble with anyone who is passing

I am frothykindofadrink at hotmail dot com

I was in the middle of a game with TooTicky but then she stopped playing probably because I was losing so badly there was no challenge left in it for her

I did post a long post earlier today detailing various aspects of life and fruit but when I got back my broadband had glitched and lost it, so you'll just have to imagine how uneventful my day was
