For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

IdrisTheDragon · 22/11/2007 16:30

Ooh I forgot to say, I sent in a birthday card to CBeebies for DS and they showed it .

I think I may have been more excited than him, but thanks to the dibibox recording thingy it is stored for posterity .

IdrisTheDragon · 22/11/2007 16:31

That's more like it

lullabyloo · 22/11/2007 16:31

filthymindedvixen · 22/11/2007 16:48

F&Z I know you weren't being mean; I still have hangups about being shunned at toddler group when ds1 was a baby because apparently the fact that i had a penchant for tyedye and had ivid red hair and a nose ring meant I was on drugs...

womblingalong · 22/11/2007 16:50

Moony for you, just let me at em!

lionheart · 22/11/2007 16:51

That is a sorry state of affairs.

Tatties · 22/11/2007 16:56

Hello

Franny how come you are always about a hundred points ahead of me on S*^&££!@ ??? It's good you are hungry. I remember almost giving myself away when newly pg and out with friends I made my way through two bags of crisps and a glass of ginger ale Well it was what I fancied...

I didn't have a clue where the title came from either.

For a minute I didn't know what you meant lionheart when you said you were on sixish

filthymindedvixen · 22/11/2007 17:03

ha Tatties When I was very newly pg I had to go to a bike rally (i was one of the organisers) It's a bit of a giveway when a hardened bikr-chick cidermonster on 20-fags a day suddenly has to be at an all-weekend party and not drink, smoke or go on the back of a motorbike....

FrayedKnot · 22/11/2007 17:11

Dh always says

"Christopher Robin went down on " whenever he hears that poem

I often sing it around the house because my parents have a 7" single with it on and I used to listen to it a lot when I was a child.

We are all having something different for supper tonight so I'm not sure why I am sitting here pretending it's all under control.

zippitippitoes · 22/11/2007 17:20

FrannyandZooey · 22/11/2007 17:28

I still don't know what lionheart meant

zippitippitoes · 22/11/2007 17:28

didn't she mean fruit and veg

lionheart · 22/11/2007 17:31

Ahem, you know that counting up to ten thing we do sometimes.

You have forgotten because you are making up filthy ditties about innocent figures from children's books.

lionheart · 22/11/2007 17:32

And some of you are fighting over tall, handsome men.

lionheart · 22/11/2007 17:32

Nine.
