For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Goodnight.

I should clean my kitchen as it is vile beyond measure but I think I can't be bothered.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 22:57

Toot is right. Mothers are such a drag.

Boco · 20/11/2007 22:58

Oh thank you Toot that was lovely thing to say. Good night veggers and rabbis.

Oh bugger. I copied and pasted some lovely hebrew expression, and look how it turned up! Outrageous.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 23:02

I looked closer at the screen to see if it was a code!

TooTicky · 20/11/2007 23:03

So did I.

Boco · 20/11/2007 23:04

I used to be able to say 'i have a moustache and my mother had a hairy back' in hebrew. That is not what i thought i had been taught to say though, as i found out very painfully Bastards.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 23:05

I am trying not to go on ebay every night but some bastard got the ruby slippers as i was in the states and I couldn't outbid them as it was 4am. So annoying, now I have to wait for more to turn up.

Toot - I am glad you kitchen is mess too. All the mess is on one side though, the side I can't see ffrom the dining room and the stairs.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 23:06

they were in the states not me

boco - ha ha ha

TooTicky · 20/11/2007 23:07

Our kitchen only has one side. I can see it all from here but I'M NOT LOOKING!

I like your typos today carrot, i liked it when you talked about 'our' dd, it was comforting for you to share the care.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 23:11

I think I make more typos than most people, I am very bad at typing, and cleaning.

TooTicky · 20/11/2007 23:20

But you are elegant, MrsC. You are a Jane Austen era lady . You would sit elegantly and felt things and write poetry while your children gambolled at your feet. You would visit the poor and needy with baskets of beautiful food prepared with your own fair hands. And you would be incredibly nice to your servants, who would of course do all the cleaning.

MrsCarrot · 20/11/2007 23:25

Yes, Toot

That is exactly how it is meant to be. I told my mother when I was three that it was all wrong. There wasn't a table.

I must retire now.

TooTicky · 20/11/2007 23:29

Night night
Hope the little carrots sleep well too.

Hello. It is peaceful right now. The cat is purring at me . Or maybe to me.

SauerKraut · 21/11/2007 07:34

Hello Idris, you were up early! It's quiet here too, but only because everyone's just left for school. I have been looking at the photos- thanks v much F&Z! Toot leapt out at me straight away, and then I was very glad of 100x's guided tour.

FrannyandZooey · 21/11/2007 08:25

Er, when you said I was up late, I had gone to bed

Boco your mother is an arse.

I want Avi to come and tell about the 7 years. I'm not going to let it lie.

FrannyandZooey · 21/11/2007 08:26

and TooT "rather sweet"

oh the damnation of faint praise

FrannyandZooey · 21/11/2007 08:38

oh I was planning to write to Roberto and say what a nice time we had on Sunday

any suggestions for things to say other than "we had a lovely time except for when you went a bit bonkers at the end and I thought you were going to call the police"

zippitippitoes · 21/11/2007 09:06

lol or hold us hostage/make us wash up/come back in the evening and drink a lot of wine or all three

zippitippitoes · 21/11/2007 09:08

i have s[ent the ;ast hour with the kitchen fitter..i am praying for this kitchen to go right

i truly am

so far i have had praise for the nice worktops/the quality of the kitchen units/my efforts in designing it

i am now expecting the gradual souring of the process as he has to actually er fit it

Boco · 21/11/2007 09:18

What did happen at the end with Roberto then? Was there not enough money? He didn't charge for the pot i smashed did he?
