For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

No no, the corn we grew

Oh, you may be interested to hear that ds2 is wearing a grey G*P top and no trousers. He looked at the school shoes and said, "Mum, my shoes are bending my toes." "All of a sudden?" I asked. "Yes," he said.
And ds1 is wearing the NO COMMENT, NO PROOF, NO PROBLEM T-shirt. I think the sentiment appeals to him

Hello!

OMG it was fab!

We are all so fucking beautiful!

How surreal was that!

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:32

TooT - didn;t you have a fab time - wasn;t it weird!

I was at the frayedknot FMF lionheart end of the table.

I heart Bbbee. we are related

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:40

ha! Did you like the bit where ds banged a chair on the floor shouting "Can we go yet?" That was cool - my parenting rocks (!)

can;t believe how serene and dainty you are with all those children - do you have to tie them to you to stop you blowing away you dainty creature?

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:41

oh yes fmf - we are - 100 would have loved it - she could have turned it into an episode of 'who do you think you are?'

we SO are related - explains our affinity.

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:42

the cake was divine and I can;t believe fz managed to sort this out in central london.

What was the eveninglike?

am sad I missed it.

MrsCarrot · 19/11/2007 17:43

me too - wish I could have stayed

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:43

okay now.

PSW was like I htought she would be.

Boco was because I met her before.

Everyone else WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM HOW I IMAGINED!

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:44

Oh MrsC I wanted to talk to you so much more than I did - I talked about you a lot though and we did good smiling and our dds did sharing so we are nearly friends.

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 17:45

I know! (hats off to Franny) When I was wandering round Covent Garden trying to find the place, all the cafes were heaving and I worried and then our place was such an oasis of calm and serenity and quirkiness. Just like this thread...

MrsCarrot · 19/11/2007 17:45

really? everyone was pretty much how I imagined...

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:46

It was weird though wasn't it?

It is weird to meet people you know loads about but haven't met and then to do face to face politeness whilst knowing they are wearing spongebob pants.

Odd.

or am I stoneage?

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 17:46

The evning was jolly (as opposed to bacchanalian). I felt like the resident lush as I was the only one not breast-feeding, pregnant, in charge of children or teetotal There was no dancing on tables, just smelly sock cheese and chips, and lots of gassing

Breakfast was jolly too!

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:47

Mrs C everyone was SO different! Don;t you think? OH you awre so clever having us all right like that.

MrsCarrot · 19/11/2007 17:47

It was definitely weird - very surreal indeed.

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:48

oh fmf i was promised table dancing!

next time I will stay and we will do table dancing in our sisterhood way.

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:49

it was good surreal though - like one of those things on a list you HAVE to do in life - I am sure meeting someone from the internet is there and often that seem to involve 'hook ups' so we have all avoided that nicely whlist still ticking our boxes.

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 17:51

next time it will not feel so wierd and speed-dating-ish We will be more relaxed. I did find it unnerving for about the first hour..

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:51

I have to go and get children adn do stuff but want more meet up chat. Keep talkinbg about it.

(I am even deeper in love with boco)

BBBee · 19/11/2007 17:53

(fmf - it was only unnerving for the first bit because you were next to me and I did the questions thing - sorry!)

MrsCarrot · 19/11/2007 17:54

Oh dear, did I sound smug?

Well, I guess Toot was different, and I thought PSW had long red hair, and I thought Lionhart had longer hair, and, well, yes they were different to my image but as I knew they would be I sort of wasn't surprised ny the difference. Does that make sense? Probably not.

Well, everyone loves everyone and we are all marvellous and wondrous and so on so it's all ok.!

lionheart · 19/11/2007 17:57

I saw some of those people who were queuing for the toilet looking like this at everyone.

I wonder how it looked from the outside.
