For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Do you know, I felt rather unsophisticated. Everybody else looked so glamorous.

TooT, I felt like applauding you when you arrived.

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 16:34

I should go and make food for the dcs but dd2 is lovely and warm and sleeping in my lap. I may be up late tonight...

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 16:35

Oh, yes. You are intrepid.

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 16:47

Avi - what a nightmare trip home for you (Bet you wished you still had mr froggy eh?)
I had a tiresome trip home too. For most of the journey I was crammed into a corner by a large, noisome group from Doncaster who stank of alhohol and vomit and talked very loudly about clit piercings...I was trying to snooze and listen to Kate Bush and they kept Intruding!

LL, I will CAT you and send you a group photo (I have special permission - to be honest, there are so many people on the photo, you won't have a clue who is who. Twill be a nice guessing game for you)

womblingalong · 19/11/2007 16:47

I will come on the thread and be specifically mice about you FMF, you were lovely, but DS and DD need dinner first!

fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 16:49

Hello Wonbling! (Oh-maker-of-beautiful-children)

womblingalong · 19/11/2007 16:51

why thank you oh moony, a vision of all round calm gorgeousness, and ace holder of said children, (and ceator of most handsome DS's & pumpkins!)

lullabyloo · 19/11/2007 17:19

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
I have just read all your lovely posts & feel even more
can we have a spring picnic meet?

fmf...you are lovely indeed
especially as you like kate bush too ....something tells me we may be rather similar in many ways
I shall very much look forward to the guessing game photo....thankyou
& thankyou everyone for giving their permission x

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 17:21

Hang on, why didn't I get to see Fmf's pumpkins? [indignant]

Wombling, I wish I could have talked to you more. You are utterly lovely

TooT I had that A+B+C juice too and it was amazing. I have been wondering all afternoon about making some sort of approximation of it but I don;t have a juicer...could it be made in a very old food processor I wonder..

can we start planning the picnic now, can we?

It would be just the antidote to today's weather.

ahundredtimes · 19/11/2007 17:21

I think TooT was the Meet Up Surprise. She looks like Winona Ryder, she is small-boned, strong, intrepid, wears nice clothes. TooT you sound divine actually.

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 17:21

LL, for you we would have a winter picnic

OP posts:
fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 17:23

I hope FrannyandFamily had a lovely day with the Big Fishies...(it was so rainy this morning)

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 17:23

FK, I used to make "crunchy smoothies" with a blender. They were good actually, and better fibre-wise than juice.

OP posts:
fullmoonfiend · 19/11/2007 17:24

TooT, I have your email addy now, I will (attempt to) send you pix

womblingalong · 19/11/2007 17:24

They were juicy round plumptious pumpkins too TooT. (PHnarr Phnarr!)

Wish we had been able to have a comfortble coze too TooT, maybe next tme at picnic, altho it is hard with the kids around, Moony had the right idea in a way.

Lully, we really missed you!

TooTicky · 19/11/2007 17:24

Goodness!

I photographed my Black Aztec corn actually. Will post a pic later, along with the shoes. Can I talk about them now, 100x?

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 19/11/2007 17:28

The shoes? Oh yes. Decision made.

ahundredtimes · 19/11/2007 17:28

You photographed your corn at the lunch?
