For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrayedKnot · 16/11/2007 20:56

Oh my god, please don;t any 10/10ers ever let anyone talk you into looking at Gaydar on a drunken girls night in

You will be scarred for life

FrayedKnot · 16/11/2007 21:17

Sorry, for those not aware, Gaydar is a gay dating site and some of the profile pictures on it (of men) are rather As I found out when a friend showed me once.

Anyway, back to the veg

zippitippitoes · 16/11/2007 21:17

oh yes dd1 cooked dinner and we had some sort of grated courgette, sweet potatoes and ordinary and onion and sausage i think it was very good

pinkspottywellies · 16/11/2007 21:20

Idris! Franny! Your turn!

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:32

Stop trying to persuade 100x to come, she's never going to, Cod said she mustn't, and anyway it would ruin the mystery and enigma that smokes about her posts. After the rest of us have photographic memories of each others faces and physiques, she will continue to waft around the edges like Will 'o' the Wisp. In Heels.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:33

and Zippi, you do make me laugh, not wanting a room to yourself

Boco · 16/11/2007 21:36

You're so right MrsC. I've heard from souces nearby that 100x has a long beard - she obviously doesn't want to damage that image of a sleek and elegant woman that we all have by revealing her hairy self. Let her be i say.

IdrisTheDragon · 16/11/2007 21:42

I have been psw.

I am sorry I am not coming on Sunday and feel a bit daft about it - especially not saying I wasn't coming. I will try hard to come if there is another one.

IdrisTheDragon · 16/11/2007 21:43

We had fish and chips. And chocolate pudding.

IdrisTheDragon · 16/11/2007 21:44

I am going to bed v soon. I have deceloped extreme tiredness.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:44

Don't feel daft. We will let you know how good the cake was.

It's no good saying the actual name of the actual site with the terrifying illuminating pictures and then expecting us not to google.

lionheart · 16/11/2007 21:48

I have had a wardrobe crisis. I can do mumsy/slobbing at home and work/prim but not the in between stuff.

Tell me it doesn't matter, please do.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:49

What website, Lionhart?

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:51

It doesn't matter, Lionhart! We're not dressing up are we? I am wearing jeans, and I for one will be pleased if it rains. I have a new Victorian style umbrella with a mushroomy nib. It is silly but fun.

pinkspottywellies · 16/11/2007 21:53

Chocolate pudding sounds good idris hope you're taking care of yourself.

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 21:54

Swoons at MrsC's umbrella.

I like Zip's story, but then I got lost because he texted back saying ifmao or something, and I have no idea what that means.

Wear jeans and a prim top in the evening Lionheart. All settled.

I heart ds1 this evening. We were watching John Barrowman singing 'Your Song' on Children in Need and he turned to me and said 'Him singing that song, it's really creepy isn't it?' and suddenly it really WAS.

That's all I wanted to know (and that you will come and sit next to me).

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:55

yes, it was a bit, but check out Kylie. She looks great.

MrsCarrot · 16/11/2007 21:56

Of course, Lion, both sides remember

ahundredtimes · 16/11/2007 21:57

No dcs are gone and dh now watching the football.

I HAD to watch the Dr Who thing, which was a bit boring wasn't it. Then we watched Dragons Den. We all had hot chocolate.

DS2 asking lots of questions about that child's skin disease. The heating isn't working. I am at fault apparantly. It is freezing here.
