For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

You have only been wallowing a day or so .

TooTicky · 14/11/2007 20:39

It is just a phase, Franny. I had to eat a lot of tomatoes with dd2. They were the Only Thing at one point. Have a nice unscented hug.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:40

TooT that is rather than Franny.

I didn't want to eat anything at all when pregnant. Except boiled potatoes.

With DS, DH tired to persuade me to eat other things. With DD he had learned.

FrannyandZooey · 14/11/2007 20:41

yes boiled potatoes, with mayonnaise

but WHO ATE ALL THE POTATOES? HMMM?

lionheart · 14/11/2007 20:42

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:45

We have duplayer (as DS calls it) here. Also My Little Ponies (many of them were mine ).

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:46

I am waffling even more than usual.

lullabyloo · 14/11/2007 20:48

Yes...............let's cancel all plans & go to Franny's instead
We can have an indoor picnic.....I'll cook

TooTicky · 14/11/2007 20:50

I'll go anywhere to taste your cooking LL

lullabyloo · 14/11/2007 20:52

Hi Toot
Can you email me your address again please?

ahundredtimes · 14/11/2007 20:53

That's as may be Franny, but must still go. It's crazy not to. Go and feel sick in London. You're going to feel sick and awful wherever you go, so you might as well have a more entertaining backdrop and different veggers knocking on your door.

I have a very well developed bedside manner, have you noticed?

I only wanted potatoes and cabbage. I ate vast amounts of cabbage.

Franny would you like a fruit bouquet to cheer you up?????

FrannyandZooey · 14/11/2007 21:01

No, I'm not going if I feel sick. I'd rather chew old pennies tbh, than turn up feeling shitty and nauseous to meet a load of people off the internet. No offence

lullabyloo · 14/11/2007 21:09

www.spacenk.co.uk
They do a Quease Ease lip balm called Erbarvira with essential oils that is especially for mother's to be.
