For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I just googled and apparently hotels can offer smoking rooms even since the ban

If you look at the web page of the chain in question, they are committed to being 100% smoke free by Jan 2008. Not much help to you Pink

Are you getting a cot?

FrayedKnot · 14/11/2007 19:49

Nods sagely at 100 and adjusts headscarf

fullmoondickinson · 14/11/2007 19:55

littlerach · 14/11/2007 19:56

I can't believe you can still smoke in hotels.

That also means that DH was right. I was adamant that this was wrong, but he said it was so.

Did anyone miss me? I was only gone a day I htink, but it would be nic eot be missed. Sob.

I have been to the Scrapstore today and stuffed a carrier bag for preschol's nativity costumes. It was fun. And i got dds some stick it notes,m and osem raffley type tickets, and a load of atlas type leaflets for dd1 who i think will be a travel writer when she is a grown up. She was thrilled. So sweet.

I ma poorly, with a sore throat and snotty nose. Hunous and salad and leek soup today. And raisins.

And i am cooooold.

Are you lal meeting this weekend?
Will you all spill the beans on each other when you get back?

Littlerach!!! Yo're baaaaaccckkk >

MrsCarrot · 14/11/2007 20:03

Lol at everyone nodding like Churchill dogs on the dash.

Tis true though, I felt like a dog's arse quite unwell with DD and glowed with the boys, though I'm sure there's someone who'll say the opposite.

Tatties · 14/11/2007 20:05

LOL Boco!

FMV are you ignoring me, hmmmm? (or is my email playing up again )

littlerach · 14/11/2007 20:05

zippitippitoes · 14/11/2007 20:07

i must have been lucky i never had this morning sickness lark

Tatties · 14/11/2007 20:07

Well I don't think that morning sickness is strictly anything to go by, but I reckon Franny's having a girl anyway

fullmoondickinson · 14/11/2007 20:07

Tatties, I emailed you back and texted you!! Ring me now if you like...

fullmoondickinson · 14/11/2007 20:09

2 boys here and no sickness. Just a compulsion to eat everything in sight for a whole nine months [whale]

Tatties · 14/11/2007 20:09

Oops you did text didn't you... I have just looked at my phone
again

fullmoondickinson · 14/11/2007 20:10

email is now working again too

TooTicky · 14/11/2007 20:15

Okay, as the mother of 2 girls and 2 boys......
.......I think the ickiness was about the same with all of them, but the things that made me feel better varied.

Oh Franny, I will be so disappointed if you can't come!

pinkspottywellies · 14/11/2007 20:21

Apparently you can't have a cot in a family room and they can't change the booking to non smoking on their system (even though my confirmation is for non smoking) so I have to 'tell them when I check in'. Fab.

TooTicky · 14/11/2007 20:23

That sounds very petty PSW. I hope it all works out okay.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:29

As someone with a boy and a girl, I was the same amount of ick with both, and everything was about the same really. Except appendages or otherwise when they came out.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:32

PSW that is silly about no cots in a family room ].

I am about to make a scrabble move.

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:33

TooT I just found your email in my spam folder. Bad spam folder.

TooTicky · 14/11/2007 20:34

I wallow in spam worryingly often for a vegan

IdrisTheDragon · 14/11/2007 20:37

We are eating pizza .

There is some raw corgette as well .

FrannyandZooey · 14/11/2007 20:37

I don't want a girl

when I was pg with ds I had a lovely time and ate fruit and chocolate the whole day long

I don't even want fruit now

I don't want much really, except diluted orange juice and a lie down in a darkened room

FrannyandZooey · 14/11/2007 20:39

Oh and 100 both days I have been feeling bad I have taken ds out, and both times we have had to come back ignominiously with me looking grey and miserable. I think I am a whisker away from blowing my pretence of not being pg.
