For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Possum your babies will love you for being a beautiful natural looking mummy who has time to do things in the garden and play with them

elegant mummies are not good for cuddling - they say "don't touch darling, it's cashmere" and "hands off my HAIR!"

It's okay Franny, your letters are not impossible. I found something quite reasonable in the end

Possum! Lovely to see you. You sound delightful. I think I'd like to look more lentilly than I am - I tend to look a bit of a hotch-potch. I do seem to have something which is a complicated combination of scorn and envy for those who are overly lentilly in appearance. Partly because it's just a uniform for some people. And it's a money thing - I would love to have more mad jumpers. Some people just go out and buy into the whole thing but they still eat plastic ham and use bleach. And don't recycle
At the festival I went to, I couldn't work out if I was disappointed or relieved when somebody's pointed, elvish ears turned out to be plastic.
Goodness, what a ramble!

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 10:08

I use bleach.

TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:09

Sorry, what Lionheart? You have just confused me

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 10:09

Mind you I don't look very lentilly, so perhaps I am allowed to?

OP posts:
TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:10

What, household bleach?

TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:12

Have you gone to hide it? Don't pour it down the sink!!

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 10:12

yup. Do I have to stand down now?

I want to know what word you found now and if it is better than mine

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 10:13

LOL @ gone to hide it

it would be a fairly shit way to hide it, wouldn't it - standing here saying "I used bleach"

scrabble has crashed on me now, you have arranged it as a punishment haven't you?

OP posts:
littlerach · 04/11/2007 10:21

This really takes ages to read now.

Well afetr all of my worrying, yesterady was lovely, and dd2 was an angel. And dd1 had a fab time, so all happy.

We made soup, potato and leek, and paid the price for it all afternoon . Fortunatel we were alone!

Then banana cake, which was magnificent.

And macaroni cheese with brocolli and sweetcorn for supper.

And we managed to polish off lamost a whole bag of dried fruit in the afternoon, as we read under a blanket.

It was a really relaxing day, not as fraught as the rest of the week gas been.

But we ar eback t normal now, phew!!

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 10:25

TooT I am sorry, I expect I have upset you, but what can I say? I am not perfect and I do all sorts of things that are not the best thing that can be done. Someone was saying similar on here the other day: "you do THAT??" But surely we all fuck up in different ways? I think you think I get everything right (qv the never lying thing). I don't and I can't even be bothered to try, frankly.

OP posts:
TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:30

Franny, I hadn't gone off in a huff! Did you think I had? I'm not perfect. Nobody is.

But have you tried Urtekram toilet cleaner? It is made in Denmark in a factory powered only by wind and hay And marvellous things can be done with white vinegar and things.....

TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:31

And you haven't upset me. Of course you haven't.

lionheart · 04/11/2007 10:33

Yes, TooTs, I think the whole site has crashed.

I got the email for the game you started but it won't load and I can't play a move on the game I am playing with Franny.

Nada scrabble.

TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:33

Glad it went well LittleRach. It sounds like a wonderful day I bet dd2 enjoyed having mummy all to herself.

TooTicky · 04/11/2007 10:34

Franny, you haven't gone all hormonal on me, have you? I still love you, you know

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 11:00

Oh TooT sorry I was bickering with dp and having a shower

well no I just know if someone kind of dismisses things that are very important to you then it is upsetting. And I just did that to you. So I am sorry. You are very kind.

I think I do sometimes feel a bit touchy about people on here thinking I am some kind of well, Queen Lentil Weaver . And I am so shit. It is nice to be able to be shit sometimes without feeling you are failing to live up to people's expectations.

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 11:04

LOL @ wind and hay btw. I thought you were going to say I should clean my toilet with wind and hay

I used to use Urtekram deodorant but it stopped working.

I haven't used their toilet cleaner, no. I will look out for it. I have tried several others and they were all rubbish IMO. Even a woman I know who has an entire eco shop on a farm says they are all a bit crap and she uses bleach once a month, but another friend I know who has been to her house says she doesn't believe that can be true

I know ecover is crap, but then their ethics are a little shaky animalwise anyway.

Franny, I don't over-expect of you, and I'm sorry if it seems as though I do. I think you're lovely. And you're honest enough to say that you aren't as perfect as you think people think you are, so that's okay
And I do think you are very good with people and propriety and things.

FrannyandZooey · 04/11/2007 12:24

yes I know ecover are dodgy - don't talk about it please as we love their cream cleaner and laundry liquid

TooT I don't think it is you, I think it is partly paranoia and my own guilt. I am not even going to start thinking about what you might mean about propriety.

Hope ds soon better avi - I feel miserable when ds is ill and I can't breastfeed him. Luckily he isn't ill very often.
