For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Who on earth is Father Dougal?

I have gone ahead and booked the party that ds2 really wants and am going to pay for it with a credit card cheque (I normally tear these up but I kept the last lot just in case). Ho hum. It will be worth it because he will remember it for years and Captain Barnacle is fab. Any of you who are in/near Wilts on 23rd Oct are more than welcome...

dh has been off with chest pains,back pains,general pains....convinced he is about to keel over because he at was an omen....ho hum
He also had his hand op yesterday so is bandaged & grumbly,in pain & needs lots of sympathy & attention & pats & there theres....

had a bad night....was late getting to ds's music group because great handfuls of my hair came out ...got to group...hall in darkness....door locked...lots of disgruntled people....no class
